Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think the problem is with the setup that can reward players for losing, not with the players attempting to put themselves in the best position possible to win. The structure of the event is at fault here, not the players.
I don't know about rewarding anything per se, they were just trying to dodge a difficult opponent.

As Flair would say, "To be the man you have to beat the man".

That still sounds like a problem to me. Losing allows you to dodge a more difficult opponent? Why? The set up needs to be reformed IMO.

Out of the last 3 nights...1 night I haven't had satellite one night and the other 2 it's stormed so hard I haven't had reception. I guess the big guy upstairs isn't a fan of the Olympics. Normally I'd be happy it's raining for the farmers, but it's been so dry their only solace is crop insurance to begin with. This rain is nothing but an inconvenience to me at this point.

I give Nastia Liukin a 10.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

What did she do?

She doesn't need to do anything. She can just lay there for all I care, I will take care of the rest. :wanker:

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Yeah, that's what I figured he meant, but I wasn't sure. They showed her on television last night as well, and I didn't realize how hot she had become.

I think part of it is she no longer has to pull her hair back so tight. The hair just looks severe on most of those girls that do gymnastics. Plus they all look twelve. Nastia proves they improve with age.

Holy shnizzle. Alex Morgan just did her best Leo Messi impersonation leading to another Wambach goal. That was pretty.
