Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Will be on the ballot come this November. None of them would be getting my vote.

As one poster commented: "As far as I'm concerned, Roger Maris is still the single season HR record holder, and Hank Aaron is the all-time HR leader."

I agree, and feel much better about the game knowing Maris and Aaron did it without cheating.

Not gonna happen. They shouldn't even be allowed on the ballot as far as I'm concerned.

Bonds says he's in without a doubt.

As he was about to break the record, I was hoping the league would stand up to him and walk him every time he went to the plate.

None will make it. In my mind tho, if 1 ever does go the argument against that era will be over. It's all or none, imo.

McGwire has been on the ballot for five years and received always received between 20 and 24% of the vote.

Raphael Palmeiro became eligible in 2011 and achieved the 'automatic' numbers that get you in the Hall of Fame -- 3000 hits (3020) and 500 home runs (569). He received 11% of the vote.

Given that it takes 75% to become elected, I don't see them getting in.....there will be more than 1 in 4 voters that will take the stand of not voting in steroid users.
