Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Lovin it. This team is in serious need of more athleticism.
Not an especially high sought after recruit...rivals two-star who only had offers from IU, Iowa State, and Western Kentucky.
I just mean in general. Seems we're getting some high quality kids.

Linebacker Marcus Oliver has informed Peegs.com that he has committed to Indiana. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound standout from Hamilton (OH) Hamilton H.S. is the 16th commit for Kevin Wilson and his staff in the 2013 recruiting class, and the fourth one from the state of Ohio.

3 star prospect.

Indiana has added another defensive player to its 2013 commitment list. 6-foot-4, 205-pound outside linebacker Kristopher Smith confirmed the news tonight on his twitter account. He becomes Indiana's 17th commitment from the senior class.

ESPN has him as a 4 star recruit

Peegs.com has learned that juco linebacker Steven Funderburk has committed to Indiana. The news was reported via the Iowa Western C.C. football Twitter account. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker from Council Bluffs (IA) Iowa Western C.C. is the 18th commit for Kevin Wilson and his staff in the 2013 recruiting class, and the second one from the junior college ranks.

This recruit isn't ranked but is coming from a very impressive C.C.

Rivals now has IU as having the 45th best incoming class....the highest I've ever seen them ranked. They will fall a little as other teams pick up some more recruits to fill their class while IU isn't going to have theirs grow that much, but last year we were #66 despite having 25 recruits coming in; #59 the year before and #92 the year before that.

I can see maybe 4 to 5 more recruits and maybe end up with the 40th ranked class.

Most teams still have more than 4 or 5 recruits that they will be signing...so we are likely to slip a few slots instead of gain.

Noel Padmore has informed Peegs.com that he has committed to Indiana. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound cornerback from Flowery Branch (GA) Flowery Branch H.S. is the nineteenth commit for Kevin Wilson and his staff in the 2013 recruiting class, and the third one from the state of Georgia.

3* CB

I wouldn't expect another QB... Next year for sure though. I like how we're stacking on the Defensive side too... we showed we can put up some points but we couldn't keep the other teams from putting up even more... ugh... that being said, we made some strides this year and Im looking forward to seeing what kind of football we're playing next year!

The Hoosiers are in the mix for 2 OBs... One is a badass C.C. Player and the other is a 3 star. It wouldn't surprise me if we pick one up. 3/4 of the new recruits are on the defense side.
