Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Yeah, Nebraska isn't getting any favors, that's for sure.
Not a surprise. Ed Hightower is reffing -- he knows who is supposed to win.

Just tuned in and noticed Ed Hightower as well...it all made sense.

Regardless of how this one ends (currently 8 pt game with 2:10 left), it's nice to see UM look beatable...

Although, a Michigan loss would help us out quite a bit.

Nebraska will lose but played them tough even with the refs against them. Michigan doesn't look near as invincible after tonight.

Michigan up 59-47 with under a minute left. Nebraska did have it down to 7 with about 2 1/2 minutes left.

Michigan with only 6 assists tonight....Burke averages 7 by himself.

I think Michigan got caught looking ahead to their match-up at Ohio State on Sunday.

Refs made sure Kansas didn't lose as well.

The unlv and New Mexico game is good as well. The rebels have been as bad as IU on the road the past few seasons but are holding their own as of halftime.

Minni is for real huh? They beat Illinois by almost 20... Illinois beat butler by almost 20 and Butler beat us so, Minni beats us by almost 40? This is going to be a huge game for us. Biggest game of the year by far.

I have a feeling that this B1G season is going to be full of parity. Every single game is going to be a battle. Our conference is really freaking good this year.

I was thinking, it would not be surprising at all to see 4 B1G teams in the elite 8. This is going to be an awesome year, fellas.

Prepare your livers!!!! :chug: :chug:    :goiu: :goiu: :goiu:

will be interested to see how far past remy crean goes to the bench on saturday. i know there's talk of working in more minutes for jeremy, hanner, derek and even mo...but can't see how we can afford such a drop-off this game. also, minny will only be going 6 deep...with no incentive to try and work in underclassmen, etc.

huge game (and UM only plays minny once...making it even bigger)

It's definitely going to be interesting to see what strategy Crean employs for our biggest test of the year. I agree, we'll likely be a 7-deep team on saturday.

My biggest question is...when WILL we be able to get these guys some quality PT to prep for the tourney? The 9 game suspension and injuries have a profound impact on this team going forward. The NCAA fucked us.

I don't have a problem with playing Jeremy and Hanner a bit, because I think they can do good things on the court if they're not overly relied on, which they won't be.

Elston has showed me nothing this year (and I love the kid) and Mo is virtually in the same category (plus he's been hurt) so I don't see why they'd play meaningful minutes unless they're just killing it in practice, which I doubt.

Crean is a better coach any of us, but to me, there's a time to gain experience and there's a time to win a damn game. This isn't the former.

They didn't do us any favors, but Saturday's game will be much like postseason...it's no time to tinker with players and lineups. You play the kids you think are most ready on that given day to help you succeed and worry about the rest later.
