Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Cue the Brad Stevens love...Gonzaga freaking gave that away at the end. Lucky ass Butler.
I don't know what in the hell Gonzaga was doing on that last in bounds play. Ball at midcourt, up 1, 3.5 seconds left...and the in bounds man just throws it up for grabs straight across mid court. PASS IT TOWARD YOUR BASKET...worst case, they get it and don't have time for anything other than a desperation heave.
Butler still had a TO left. Really surprised Stevens didn't call it when the steal happened.

And that was the worst in bounds play ever. I completely blame the coach, there was nobody open and nobody to safely toss it to.
And it looked like a set play. Hell, he had two guys set deep in his own backcourt....that allowed Butler to have two men close to the bucket should they get a steal in the first place.

The proper play should have been simple: four guys in your frontcourt, worst case scenerio you throw the ball toward the basket. Worst case is a scramble for the loose ball with not much time to do anything and the length of the court to go for Butler.

I put some blame on the player too.

It just looked to me that was the play that was called....Few thought throwing the ball up to the 7 foot kid with the 6 four kid guarding him was the play. I understand the logic...but you sure as hell wouldn't do throw that ball up at midcourt where a missed pass results in a quick run out and shot. Do it at the basket.

Louisville lost to Villanova tonight. The same Nova team that lost to Alabama, Columbia and LaSalle. College basketball is never easy. Just saying.

I don't like either team, but probably dislike Wisky more. Loved the fact that they basically lost when Wisky lost when, down two with 3.5 seconds left, a Wisky player just jumps right into a MSU defender and got two free throws only to miss badly on the first.

Wisconsin is a really bad FT shooting team.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Another team Purdue should have beat.

Those early season losses are so frustrating, basically have already eliminated Purdue from the bubble unless they go like 10-8 in the conference w some big wins. Damn youth.
