Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I don't believe a Purdue fan can technically jinx the IU team, have to check with the judges.

4 in a row for the Gophers. Like clockwork every year it seems.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Only one of the four was what I would consider a bad loss.

I don't see them finishing worse than 21-10 at worst and definitely could finish better than that. At the beginning of the year I predicted they would finish ahead of both Illinois and Purdue....do you doubt that? They still have Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, and Penn State at home along with Indiana and Wisky.....I think they win five of those. Their road games are at Michigan State, Iowa, Ohio State, Nebraska, and Purdue....I would predict two wins there. That would put them at 10-8 in the conference and 22-9 overall.

I don't doubt that at all, and I wasn't saying any different. Just saying they tend start out hot and then fade once conference play starts.

I think they're a fringe top 25 team, not much more.

Agree...right now that is exactly what they are.

Their hot start, though, is usually a product of a weak pre-conference schedule. Tubby tends to schedule tons of cupcakes which disguises that his teams were pretty mediocre....this year's schedule was definitely tougher (Richmond, Duke, Memphis, Stanford, Florida State were all played in succession).

Home, neutral, neutral, neutral, B1G/ACC challenge.

If they are a fringe top 25 team right now, don't you think that they are trending towards the bubble? I think they are on the same route as Illinois.
