Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

OSU better get their heads out of their asses, that is not a great venue for trying to mount a huge second half comeback

Wisconsin could shock everyone and win the b10. I can't stand them, but seems like they do this year after year.

For them to win the Big Ten, a lot would have to happen including them winning at Michigan State. The Spartans already beat them at the Kohl Center and have a two game lead over them.

Alright, it's Sunday, so here's my weekly overview around the country.

Teams that impressed me this week:

Providence - No, the Friars won't be dancing in March. But they have been a thorn in several Big East bubble teams' sides these past couple of weeks. Providence is on a 4 game winning streak including wins at Villanova, Cincinnati, and throttling Notre Dame at home on Saturday.

Colorado State - Seems like the only consistent team in the Mountain West right now are the Rams. After close wins against San Diego State and at Air Force this week, CSU is riding a 6 game winning streak.

La Salle - The Atlantic 10 has been beating up on each other, but the Explorers took care of business this week with tough wins at St. Bonaventure and against Big 5 rival St. Joseph's at the Palestra.

North Carolina - Yes, the Tar Heels split their two games this week. But I had them getting trounced at Duke, and they competed hard. Plus, they took care of Virginia at home in a bubble showdown. A smaller lineup appears to be working for UNC.

Teams that disappointed me this week:

Kentucky - Yes, I hate pUKe as much as anyone on here and am enjoying seeing them crumble, but I need to analyze this team from an unbiased standpoint. This team took the worst blow possible by losing Noel for the rest of the season. But they had no chance of upsetting Florida anyways. And how do they react? By getting embarrassed at mediocre Tennessee in a 88-58 shellacking. Right now, Joe Lunardi has this team not even making it to the tournament. Big Blue Nation is on suicide watch right now.

Indiana State -What the hell is going on in the Missouri Valley? The Sycamores have many great wins under their belt, but that doesn't matter when you lose to teams like Missouri State and Bradley this week. The bubble may be popping on this team.

Stanford - The Pac-12 has been wacky this season. The Cardinal have been making a case as a tournament team, but they blew some big opportunities lately. Stanford was swept at home this week by the LA schools (USC and UCLA).

Michigan - I know the Wolverines won today. But by only 8 at home to Penn State? WTF?! I guess hangovers happen, especially when you just got embarrassed at your in-state rival by 23 points on Tuesday. This team has gone from looking like a national contender to pretty vulnerable in one week. But hey, Kansas turned it around. Maybe Big Blue can too.

Also want to give a late shout out to California. The Bears just made a ferocious comeback at home against USC and are coming off two resume-building wins at Arizona and at home against UCLA.

I didn't watch a minute of basketball today but after looking at the score, it appears I missed potentially one of the WORST and most BORING days ever.

Seriously...wisky is boring as fuck, Louisville scores under 60, Miami wins while scoring 45?!

wow. what a shit day.

I guess but that had to be one boring game to watch... only 93 pts scored collectively... sure that wasn't a wiscy scrimmage?

Miami up only one with four and a half to go at home against Virginia.

There is no way Miami is the second best team in the country. They are barely scraping that are at best borderline NCAA tourney teams.

WTF? I didn't even bother watching the end of that one because Florida seemed to be in control.
