Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Butler is slapping North Carolina around pretty bad right now.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

The second half of that UNC-Butler game scared the crap out of me...to see how well both of those teams can be at their best. We're going to have to step it up defensively against both those teams.

Heard about this during the UNC-Butler game...I can't even fathom how in the hell the guy got off that many shots.

if anyone has the chance to see grinnell play, i highly recommend. take a look at their box scores for the past several years. they are loyola marymount during the glory days on adrenaline. in DIII there is no cap on roster space, so they have about 20 guys that they rotate wholesale every dead ball. they pretty much have one guy back on D in the lane...begging the opposition to shoot anything than a lay-up/dunk. uni i've been teaching at part-time, coach told the kids not to shoot anything other than a lay-up...didn't matter how open the shot was. they were up 38 at half, but grinnell pegged them back with their mammoth 'depth'. eventually grinnell won in overtime with both teams in the 120s/130s.

good fun...

They played a game on ESPN probably 7 or 8 years back. Pretty entertaining stuff.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I've got a fever, and the only prescription is Morehead...(State)! Playing the Cheaters pretty tough about mid-way through 2nd half.

Cheaters unfortunately pulling away...but we can definitely see what a chicken-$%^& Coach Slimeball is, ducking out of the game with us...we would have kicked their ass all over their home floor.

Anyone notice Dicky V pleading with Cheatapari to schedule us. I loved how he pointed out that we have done everything to get them to play us, and pUKe still refuses.
