Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

IMO, outside of IU, Wisky has the best shot at being the #1 seed in the BTT. Wisky has one tough game -- at Michigan State -- but their other three games are hosting Nebraska and Purdue while traveling to Penn State. Michigan and Michigan State will play each other so one will pretty much automatically knock out the other from the BTT race.

Would love to win the next three games and render the game at Michigan as a non-factor in deciding the title.

Agreed. Would like to count on this at the very least. It would definitely make the road game at Michigan easier to deal with.

Pretty clear-cut now for the Hoosiers...win at least 3 of 4 closing out the regular season to win an outright Big Ten Championship.
...in the best conference in America!!

br
I wouldn't underestimate the OSU, or UM games. Could get dicey if we're not careful.
or the Minni game... or the Iowa game... we can't afford to over look any of our remaining games... we saw what can happen if we're not playing up to par, like in the Illinois game

Teams that impressed me this week:

Georgetown - The Hoyas are one of the hottest teams in the country right now. After snapping Syracuse's long home winning streak, G-Town has won 9 straight with wins at Notre Dame, Louisville, Marquette, and at Cincinnati. Looks like they've figured out their offensive struggles.

Saint Louis - I think the Billikens locked up their tournament bid this week. They won convincingly at home over VCU and got a huge win at Butler to sweep the Bulldogs this season.

Ohio State - How do you overcome an embarrassing loss at Wisconsin? You crush Minnesota at home by nearly 30 points and wrap up a marquee win over top 5 ranked Michigan State.

Villanova - Nova keeps building its tournament resume. They avoided a bad loss at home to Rutgers and beat another ranked Big East team in Marquette. This team obviously wants to go dancing.

Temple - The Owls have been a mystery all season but had a good week. They got a resume-building win over La Salle and got a tough road win at Charlotte.

St. Mary's - The Gaels took care of business this week to state their case for the tournament. They knocked off BYU and beat Creighton in the Bracket Busters.

Teams that disappointed me this week:

Miami (FL) - I've noticed the Canes haven't been playing near as well the past couple of weeks with close wins at Clemson and Virginia. But it caught up to them Saturday when they got trounced at Wake Forest. Eventually, poor play will catch up to you even when you're playing in a shitty conference like the ACC.

Baylor - The Bears are playing their way right out of the tournament. They've lost 6 of their last 8 and blew chances for quality wins this week by falling at home to Iowa State and getting dominated at Oklahoma. Unless they beat Kansas and Kansas State at home, I see this team missing out on Selection Sunday.

Cincinnati - I think the Bearcats will still get in, but they haven't been playing well at all the past couple of weeks. They've lost 5 of their last 6 and seem to keep struggling on the offensive end.

Arizona State - Man, the Sun Devils aren't making it easy on the selection committee. You cannot afford to lose at home to Washington when you're right on the bubble. And their last three games are not comforting (at UCLA, at USC, at Arizona). If ASU wants to get in, they need to pull of an upset or two down the stretch and avoid an early elimination in the Pac-12 tournament.

So, I disagree with brumdog and the first half of pachen's statement yet feel indifferent on mongo's desire to agree with everything.

off hand i'm thinking i agree 90% of this, but there's only a 60% chance of that.

Im 75% in agreement with Bri, so of course disagree with 75% of what mongo is agreeing with so I suppose that means that Im in 75% agreement with brum, while also disagreeing with him 75%... and only agreeing with pancha on 50% of all thats being said... so there... I said it
