Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If we take care of business at home (no assumptions especially after seeing PSU shock Michigan), the worst we can do is split the Big Ten Regular Season Championship with the Crypt Keepers.
Actually, the worst we could do is to share the title with either Michigan State or Wisconsin (whoever won between them).

And if Michigan State just holds court and beats Wisconsin at Breslin, then two wins by us would seal the one seed in the BTT as we own the tiebreaker on Wisky.

Actually... if EVERYONE takes care of business at home, the Hoosiers are outright B1G champs... Check everyone schedules ;)

Assuming we don't implode, there are 3 teams in the top 10 that we would need to be concerned with to battle for the number 1 seed in the midwest region... Louisville, Mich St and Michigan. I have to stand by what someone, from this board, said in another post... If a team wins the B1G outright in the regular conference play then they would get the number 1 seed in the midwest. I don't see Louisville making a number one seed unless there are some drastic changes but weirder things have happened. Im curious how our 4 losses to non ranked teams will fare against us come selection time

Considering that two of those teams are now ranked and the other two look tourney bound....not that much. When all is said and done, there is a pretty good chance that all four of them will have 22+ regular season wins before their conference tournies start.

Still a lot left. I think if we either: A. win our last three regular season games or B. win two of three and win our conference tourney, then we would likely be the one seed in the midwest.

i question the right of the BTN to use 'super wednesday' when leading up to UM/penn st. and PU/iowa.

something just doesn't seem so super...
my sincerest apologies to the BTN. please schedule the entire slate of home games at happy valley.

If we shared the Big Ten with the Crypt Keepers, they'd actually have the 1 seed in the BTT, making us the 2 seed...IF that were to happen, I don't think it would hurt our NCAA # 1 seed chances as long as we complete one of the A. or B. scenarios Brum discussed.

Can't see IU falling any lower than # 4 assuming a victory over Iowa Saturday.

I am a little worried about Kansas getting the # 1 seed in the Midwest.

If they are the one seed, i think they will get the south region. Its in arlington texas...which would be about 20 miles closer than Indy.

OSU in a dogfight at NW. Up 2 at the under 4 mark
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

So, what if......Duke loses to Virginia and Gonzaga were to lose tonight at BYU? That would mean the top four teams all lost.

And if Miami were to then lose at Duke on Saturday, then the top five all would have lost. Obviously it is a long that all three things occur together, but it certainly is plausible.
