Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I've seen Plumlee play twice this year and wasn't impressed in either game. He does have good numbers so maybe that was just bad luck, but I dunno. When I watched him he wasn't able to get close to the basket, having to either dribble drive in or work his way in from way far out. And he was getting beat on D repeatedly. I have a hard time believing he's a legit NPOY candidate.
I've heard the same thing said about Zeller.
Really? I haven't heard that at all.

Zeller has to dribble drive into the basket to get his shot? He does that maybe once or twice each game.
He works his way close into the basket from far out? I'd say his positioning is pretty average. Plumlee was catching the ball just inside the 3 line and trying to back his man all the way in.

Zeller's issues are not demanding the ball enough, not being a dominant rebounder, and sometimes not being aggressive enough when he gets it. Not sure what games you are watching.
Really? They both need to be stronger around the basket and they both struggle with D at times. Obviously we aren't watching the sames games.
Haha. I guess if we want to describe basketball players in the most general terms possible, sure.

VCU just curb-stomped Butler. I'd just assume not have to face VCU again this year.

...Unless it's very deep in the NCAA's of course. I'm sure Hulls still has nightmares about last year's game with them.

FWIW, Butler has lost 5 of their last 11. Their last two games are at Massachusetts and then at home against Xavier.....definitely losable games.

It would be a MUCH different game this year... we have a true PG who knows how to handle the pressure defense that VCU would bring

and Syracuse on a 3 game losing streak... they played 3 straight ranked teams, 2 of them at home... figured they'd win 2 out of those 3 but then again, they're one of those teams that's been in and out of the top 10 all year

Haha. Thanks for the insight Colt. You guys are right. Zeller and Plumlee's play isn't similar at all. Unbelievable...

If Michigan beats Michigan State today, we have clinched a tie for the conference title with two games to go.

This ROCKS! If Michigan can beat Mich St then that would mean that we could clinch the outright B1G title on Senior Day :) Wolverines!
