Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think Illinois may be better than advertised.
possibly -- they really didn't get wiped out by the coaching change and bring back a decent amount of experience. they are pretty thin though.

they haven't really played "anyone" yet -- but that said they ran everyone out of the gym at Maui.

all this said, I'd take them over Iowa any day.

Once again, Butler appears to be an enigma.
literally made and broke by the 3..
I didn't actually see the game tonight, but yeah...it looks that way for sure. Andrew Smith only had 4 shot attempts, and my guess would be that at least a few of those were offensive rebounds. Their guards must not even be trying to get it in to him. Rotnei Clark went 6-13 from downtown and the rest of the team 1-15 combined. Ouch!

Looks like Butler lives and dies by the 3. But they can get beat up inside against bigger and more physical teams.

Simply put, Andrew Smith is not a very good offensive player. His size should have seen him eat up the Horizon league.

Cheaters unfortunately pulling away...but we can definitely see what a chicken-$%^& Coach Slimeball is, ducking out of the game with us...we would have kicked their ass all over their home floor.
Anyone notice Dicky V pleading with Cheatapari to schedule us. I loved how he pointed out that we have done everything to get them to play us, and pUKe still refuses.
Yeah I heard that he he definitely through the blame at cheaterpari. I love it since all my delusional UK friends swear that it was IU who wanted out of that game.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Rotnei Clarke may be a great guy, but he looks like a giant douche.

Come and join in song together, shout with might and main. Our beloved Alma Mater, sound her praise again. Gloriana Frangipana, E'er to her be true. She's the pride of Indiana, Hail to Old IU!

Watched Louisville play last night vs Northern Iowa. For a #2 ranked team, the thing that stood out to me most was their lack of speed in general.

Yogi and Vic would run them out of the gym.

Lots of speculation going on now about Ryan Harrow's absence at UK. Some rumors are starting to appear that he is depressed and homesick and could be leaving Kentucky.

The sequence of events so far:

1. came to NC State as a freshman as a very highly touted recruit (believe five star player). Did not perform to expectations -- averaged 9 points and 3 assists per game in 23 minutes, but shot only 39 percent and 22 percent from three. Was criticized as being "mentally soft".

2. transferred after his freshman season to UK. The hope was he would he hit the weight room during his season off and be right in the mix for point guard with the Wildcats. Was said to have not done so.

3. with the loss of Teague, he was penciled in for the starting spot. In the opener against Maryland, performed poorly in the opener. Started but only played 10 minutes as Polson came off the bench and played very well in his place.

4. did not play again after that....first he missed a week with what Calapari said was 'flu-like symptoms' (it's been said he lost seven pounds in a week). Since then, he has returned home to 'deal with a family issue'.

5. it struck me when all of this was going down that it very much sounds like a depression or anxiety issue over having to fill the expectations that go with being a college player at this level. Rumors are starting to circulate that this is the case.

Honestly, forgot the fact that he plays at Kentucky. If if he is going through what it sounds like he is, I feel bad for the kid. I think as fans we forget the amount of pressure that is involved with high division college athletics.

Not that Bucknell is anything special, but how about PSU losing Tim Frazier on Monday and coming back to beat them today?

Just saw ASU beat Arkansas. The devils pulled away with good second half defense.
