Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

And once he got it, he did have an open Appling and simply waited to long to try to get it to him.

Yes it does! I hope our guys take it to OSU and take this thing outright on Tuesday. It's going to be an incredible atmosphere! Wish I could be there!

Only one more week left in the regular season and Championship Week is here before Selection Sunday. So, here's my analysis this week as the season winds down.

Teams that impressed me:

Minnesota - IU didn't play well, but they just beat us on Tuesday to get a huge win that may turn their season back around. The Gophers followed with a win at home against a Penn State team coming off a huge upset over Michigan. Looks like Tubby has this team playing back at the level we all thought they could be at.

Marquette - Both games were at home but they were ranked teams in Syracuse and Notre Dame. Buzz Williams deserves National Coach of the Year consideration after the Eagles lost their two best players from last year.

Boise State - The Broncos are trying to play their way into the tournament riding a four-game winning streak. That was capped off with a good home win over Colorado State on Saturday.

UCLA - The Bruins are also riding a four-game winning streak. They took down fellow bubble team Arizona State and completed their sweep over Arizona.

Teams that disappointed me:

Ole Miss - Here was a team I thought would snap their long tournament drought this season. But then they lost to friggin Mississippi State on Saturday. Has anyone else seen Mississippi State play this season? They are absolutely terrible. The Rebels may have just dug their own grave.

Syracuse - Man, the Orange picked a bad time to lose three in a role. Not to mention two of those games were at home. Granted the three teams were Georgetown, at Marquette, and Louisville. But this team is too talented to lose to all three.

Butler - The Bulldogs played on one game this week, and they got their asses kicked. They were trounced at VCU by 32 points on Saturday. This team has kind of become Jekyll and Hyde this season.

Arizona State - The Sun Devils' bubble is on the verge of popping. Riding a three-game losing streak, ASU fell at USC and UCLA this week. Unless they win at Arizona and make a run in the Pac-12 Tournament, this team is playing in the NIT.

Villanova - Losing at Pittsburgh is nothing to feel ashamed about. It was a blown opportunity for a good win, though. But you cannot afford to lose to a team like Seton Hall this late in the season. Another bad loss to add to the Cats' resume.

could potentially be a four way co-conference champ if we lose our next 2 and the 4 under us win out besides the fact that wisky and mich st still have to play each other so one of them will get the axe but I say we just finish it off tomorrow on senior night.

IU a close second in ESPN's power poll.

Of the 18 pollsters, 10 voted Gonzaga #1, 7 voted Indiana #1 (which included Rece Davis, Joe Lunardi, and surpringsly Steven Bardo), and 1 voted Duke #1. The lowest Indiana was on any ballot was #3; Gonzaga was #4 on one ballot.

Now the surprising thing: Duke was as low as #5 on three ballots. One of the ballots was........Dick Vitale's.

br
Miami now has lost two straight, including a home game to a team that won't make the tournament.

They can not win the national championship.
