Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Dumb thread. Every single team has a giant list of flaws. Welcome to college basketball 2013 dude. This is a direct result of the NBA fucking college basketball with the one and done rule.

That being said, statistically, and aesthetically, we are the favorite to win it all still. Duke is RIGHT behind us with Kelly back. Kansas, Louisville, UM, MSU, Gtown, Cuse and Florida would all give us a run.for our money.... But this team has a history unlike the other teams, and a well rounded team that should be able to win if everything is on the line. Have some faith dude.. we don't have a starting 5 that will all be pro next year... But we have 2 solid NBA players, and a great TEAM. Get this negative crap out of our atmosphere.

'I am as frustrated with this team as I have been with any team in any sport ever.'

JMO, but I would hate my life if I were this guy!!! If 25-5 and B10 champs make you so frustrated, just do something else besides watching sports; perhaps walks on the beach or a good book.

I, for one, am thrilled with our season and look forward to the tournament.
Wow.....I should hate my life??? Pretty harsh. I am frustrated with this team because they have so much talent and although our record is great, we aren't achieving our potential. That being said, it doesn't really impact my life. So chill with the crazy assumptions.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I was frustrated 2-3 years ago......I love how far we have come. Getting pissed off because you can't will your team to win thru a television set just seems silly....these guys are just kids...they make mistakes and still have bad games. Expecting a team to play to their ability every game is far-fetched and is really not all that different than secretly expecting them to go undefeated...even tho you won't say it out loud. If you weren't expecting perfection or being undefeated then why all the melt downs after a loss. Winning a national championship is one of the hardest things to do in sports. We all know what playing in the B1G is like and this year the league may be as good as it has ever been....expecting too much more than we've accomplished is crazy. Could we have played a little better in some situations? Yes. Could we have had a much better season than we have had to this point? IMO, no.

I agree with all of this but our last few games, starting with Minni, we have been playing like the games going to fall in our lap. Im thinking that maybe with that victory over Michigan State, we had a week off going into Minni and we ran into a 3 game slump. Maybe a little rusty? Possibly but I dont think we've been as prepared during these 3 games like we've been most of the season. Also was thinking that maybe with the pregame festivities on Senior Night got us out of sync leading up to the game... who knows, Im simply speculating on what happened but I know this team is VERY capable of beating the last 3 teams we've played and beat them without issue. Last years team hit a 3 game skid in the middle of conference play against teams we should've beat so Im hoping we got our three bad games out of the way and can now move on to the bigger fish that we began this season ready to fry... like the B1G outright championship for starters, finished off with a B1G tourney Championship, followed by grand daddy, NCAA Champs. This team is built for a championship and Im excited to see them live up to that potential this year.
