Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Alright everyone, wish I could say great game today but not so much. Talk to you all next week and keep the faith. We will be OK as long as we don't have to play Bo, he owns us.
...A TRUE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM should never have to say this...we must face it...we don't look like a championship team...elite eight...probably...final four...maybe...champions...nope...
I agree. We have never clicked on all cylinders any this year and if we peaked this year, I sure haven't seen it.

The reason why we can't beat these guys is the fact the Bo Ryan constantly outcoaches Tom Crean and the fact that Jordan Hulls is worthless if he not knocking down threes. Take away the Minnesota game at Minnesota and I bet Hulls is shooting below 35%. I bet he is shooting less than 30% from 3 since the Minny game.
Totally agree. If Jordy is not scoring, he is a liability, not an asset. He actually contributed yesterday with no turnovers and 8 assists and pretty good D. Overall though in the last few games, we would have been better off with Remy or Sheehy in the game

Yeah, that would suck. Hard to argue though, Louisville is on fire.

I dunno, splitting the Big East championship with 3 teams just isn't as impressive to me as winning the Big Ten outright.

Sometimes this team boggles my mind. They can beat teams like Michigan, and Mich St without any problems, but a team like Wisky who will be lucky to make it passed the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney gives the problems. We'll be fine just as long as we don't play Wisky. Our biggest problems were rebounding, VO making bad decisions, and getting half of our shots blocked. Hulls worries me. If he stays this cold then we're in trouble.

pretty sure that's not correct.

rumors say Mike Bobinski says 1 team has a lock on the #1 and there are 5 teams in play for the other 3. If it's truly based off body of work (wins), RPI, and SOS than IU is the team that has the #1 locked up. period.

The real reason Wisconsin always beats IU is that they play really big lineups, and IU has played small against them. If IU played them again (they won't), I think you have to start Sheehey with Zeller and Watford just to counter their lineup. Conceding offensive rebounds was and will always be killer.

At the end of the day, doesn't really matter. An extra day off and a certain #1 seed.

our offense is wisky's biggest offense. stupid turnovers and poor shots lead to easier buckets for them...whether straight on the break of delayed. too much dribbling into the paint with head down and nowhere to go.

hulls has disappeared of late. since the minny game it seems. he's either going to be a huge advantage, with his shooting, in the ncaa...or a huge liability of we're essentially conceding a position.

and hey...remy actually played okay. go figure...

I disagree. I think the team they are talking about is Gonzaga in the West.

I'm not all that big on the conference tournaments. It's fine and all, but I've lived most of my life without it. Obviously it gives certain teams a chance to get into the big dance, but when you're already a lock to get in, it really doesn't mean that much in the big picture.

That said, I would have loved to beat Wisconsin just for the Hell of it, but I'm ready for the real thing. Let's get this shit on the road.

I'd have to agree with you. They're not much bigger, but the seem to play bigger. Playing two 6' guards hurt us. Watford could have rebounded better too. It'll be interesting to see how we play in 2014 and 2015 with all players that Crean recruited. Right now we don't have any depth at the 4 and the 5. That being said I don't think there is anybody that plays the tempo that Wisky plays, that gives us so much trouble.
