Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

If Obama care was cutting costs like the Dems claimed it would, I would be quick to admit I was wrong about the law. However, costs are rising and there are bad unintended consequences as is the case for most new laws, especially 2500+ page monstrosities. So my question is were the Dems disingenuous or ignorant when they accessed the effects of Obama care?

I like the fact that the admin is going to openly not enforce a law that they wrote and jammed thru congress. The ACA, which is the law Obama signed himself, states that employers must comply in 2014. Obama has decided not to enforce the law of the land once again. What authority does he have to do that when the law was voted on and passed by congress. Shouldn't this be voted on? Why does he continue to believe that he has the power to enforce only the laws he wants to enforce? Pretty sure he swore to uphold the law of the land.....I don't think the the words "selectively" or the phrase "at your discretion" is in the oath of office.....is it?

He got the law he wanted and now does an end-around his own law for political reasons....truly fucking sad.

Can't say I really disagree with anything here. Why isn't this being voted on? I would absolutely expect them to start collecting the taxes next year. I'm not sure how it's possible to simply decide not to do that. At this point, I don't see how that decision can be left to the President at all.

Obama does no wrong in some people's eyes. Point out reality and some respond with their "black helicopter" bullshit. That's what you do when you can't justify the actions of the ones you profess your love for. Start throwing out names or change the subject. Surely, in the small minds of a few, I'm a racists for even bringing it up.

I know what he is doing and I know what many politicians does in those situations. I just don't pretend to be outraged when it only happens with someone from the "wrong party".

See Colts response and tell me that I'M the one playing the victim. Care to call him out, or just some little sarcastic comment that I made? He's already made the leap of us calling him a racist.
