Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Obama does no wrong in some people's eyes. Point out reality and some respond with their "black helicopter" bullshit. That's what you do when you can't justify the actions of the ones you profess your love for. Start throwing out names or change the subject. Surely, in the small minds of a few, I'm a racists for even bringing it up.
Yeah, I'm the one with the victim complex.

I made a statement and asked a few legitimate question about the ACA. Brum immediately throws out a childish one-liner, not once, but twice.

Dreach even agreed with the substance of my original post.

Everyone can decide for themselves who tried to hijack the thread.

ObamaCare is a slow-motion train wreck designed to force the US into the "single payer" government run system. It's pathetic that the Dems are putting the pain off until after the '14 election. I can't blame them, as Americans were ignorant enough to re-elect Obama.

You gotta love how Brum's best defense is the "all politicians to it" defense. Beyond pathetic.

I do agree with the substantive part of the post, but I'm not sure about the post afterwards claiming it's for political reasons. Waiting till after the mid-term elections in 14 doesn't help anything because collecting them in 15 will precede the presidential election in 16. Politically, I'd rather start collecting during midterm elections than during the gear up for the 16 election.

I'm more concerned with selectively enforcing laws, especially one that was supposed to be so great and for our own good. Bash people over the head for 3 years with bullshit political rhetoric and then do exactly what those people said would happen.....with a straight face. Talk about a joke.

I have the same question. I'm more worried about how it is being done. Regardless of party, selective enforcement is not right. And I'm no lawyer, but I question the legality.

I've said many times things that I thought were wrong with the administration....but that doesn't matter. As long as I don't think that Obama is the anti-christ, I'm 'the enemy'.

Christ, we are still having threads in this forum about where Obama is born that some people take seriously.

Try to stay on topic. Nobody mentioned "anti-Christ" or birth certificate in this thread....

Some people in this forum still think Obama Care is good legislation.

"Without an enforcement mechanism, there is no mandate. It's just a political talking point."
-- Then-Sen. Barack Obama quoted by NBC News attacking Sen. Hillary Clinton’s health-insurance proposal in a press briefing in Littleton, N.H., Nov. 26, 2007.

Brum, you voted for Obama TWICE, so now it's time for you to put on your man-pants, and either defend his policies, or admit when they are wrong. Please, no more attempts to obfuscate by mentioning birthers, etc. Or you can ignore this forum and keep me on ignore.

He doesn't have to do that because a vote for Obama is as much or maybe more than a vote against the alternative than it is for Obamas policies.

He doesn't have to do that because a vote for Obama is as much or maybe more than a vote against the alternative than it is for Obamas policies.
Or he can simply read what I said then and continue to believe, that Obama's healthcare policy needed amended. But's that's not his MO.
