Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Ummmm... No, it's factual, bg. Maybe you aren't concerned when powerful officials lie, but some of us are.

Secretary of State John Kerry was aboard his 76-foot yacht for the 4th of July amid the on-going political tumult in Egypt, a spokeswoman for the State Department confirmed Friday, reversing a previous statement she had made.

Jen Psaki, spokeswoman for the state department, had said Wednesday "any report or tweet that [Kerry] was on a boat is completely inaccurate," in response to a claim by a CBS News producer that Kerry was in Nantucket on his boat "Isabel."

Lars,

I am sick of the "gotcha" moments. So he was on his yacht. We have real problems in this nation and need to put petty stuff aside and look to be Americans and find solutions. This gotcha stuff is destroying us.

So the correct answer is "yes, he was on his yacht, while remaining in close contact with the situation." Given Kerry's track record for lying, and his enormous wealth, lying about being on his $7M yacht during a time of crisis was an major blunder.
