Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I would be willing to bet that each one of us knows at least one person taking advantage of disability....I play basketball with a guy who I just found out is taking advantage of disability....plays full court basketball but can't drive a forklift. This shit infuriates me as much as anything else out there.....we are creating a lazy worthless culture and then wonder why we have income inequality.

?

I understand the lazy culture line, but if we are giving them money they don't deserve, how is that creating more income inequality?

because when you incentive someone to be lazy, they remain in a state of in or near poverty, while those who choose to produce continue to advance their station in life creating a wider divide.

I wholeheartedly doubt that most who chose to go the route of faked disability ever had the drive to work beyond the poverty level. I would just prefer that it be done not on the government dollar and through actual work.

I completely disagree brum....nearly everyone that I know who is on "disability" were former factor workers well above the poverty level....Dana, Navistar, SDI...etc.

We'll just have to agree to disagree...I just don't view those willing to milk injuries for much lower pay as candidates to keep those jobs for any kind of long term after that.

It's much worse that just creating a lazier culture. It's creating one that encourages lying and corruption. I would throw the book at these people.
