Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Tom Crean's statement:

"This is a very tough outcome for our Indiana team, but most importantly for James," said IU Coach Tom Crean. "He is establishing himself as one of the most elite guards in the country this season. I feel terrible for him and he has a tough road ahead of him but it is one he has been down before and we fully believe that this process will lead him to have an incredible future in the game at Indiana and well beyond. We look forward to helping him with his full recovery and I know he appreciates everyones thoughts, prayers and concerns."

so is that it for the season? or should he be back?

gotta say though, even without this news, it was awfully hard to see either JBJ or troy being NBA ready. not to say they wouldn't/won't leave...but they each have a long ways to go yet.

we're definitely going to miss the depth at guard, but if he wasn't hitting his shot he was arguably a liability on the court. we'll miss him, but not sure it is a huge loss.

It isn't really about being ready or not ready....it's about where you'll be drafted. I think Troy will be gone after this year but the knee surgery for Blackmon puts his draft position probably in a position where he'll be back next year.

His defense will be sorely missed.
