Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Totally the right move, IMO. As long as he doesn't make the leap to somewhere else, he'll provide the continuity this program so desperately needs. At this point, we don't need the best coach in the country. We need the best coach who will actually stay here.

He earned that. While the record wasn't great, they have looked better the last couple of years. Just been a few plays away from having some special seasons.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Good thing he got the extension now because if a QB doesn't magically appear they are going to be lucky to be 4-8 in 2016.

I'm pretty sure they got the #4 pro-style Juco QB who all the analyst are expecting to be the starter. He joined for the spring semester...6'-5"...was originally at UConn and Oklahoma St. before going to Cisco College

Academics?
I don't believe so. I think CT transfer was due to a coaching change and Oklahoma State was from being buried on the depth chart.

Makes sense. Late bloomer. Excited to see what he brings to Bloomington.

Don't dismiss Diamont to be the starter in 2016. Multiple years in the system.

Don't know a whole lot about the new incoming QB, though. Should be a good competition.

Not sure Diamont has what it takes to be a starter in the B1G. I think he has been effective because he changes the pace of play when he enters the game for an injured QB and the other team had been game-planning for Sudfeld. Not sure how many QB's like him have much success in B1G play, but I could be wrong.

In my opinion, it's Richard Lagow's job to lose, and I'm excited to see what he has to bring. I don't envision a CKW offense struggling.

Guys, check out this post from when Tom Allen was rumored to be going to Auburn. Holy shit. This might be the best assistant coaching hire we've ever made.
