Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Trump takes Iowa by a healthy amount. Victory speech will be agonizingly funny.

Good turnout for Dems will result in an extremely close race, with Bernie taking the state. He will also win NH. then will lose a bunch of primaries in a row.

Trump may still win, but it own't be by nearly as much as the polling numbers would have suggested.

Not so fast...50 percent of the vote in and Trump under forming. Trails Cruz by 4 percent and only leads Rubio by 4 percent.

Clinton up 2 percent on Sanders with 2/3 of the democratic vote in.

The big takeaway for me, is that Rubio is going to be the nominee. Trump's polling not matching his voters. Cruz is too extreme. Rubio is the guy both sides of the party can get behind.

Cruz basically has the percentage wrapped up now....75% of the vote in, he has 28%, Trump 25%, Rubio 22%. By vote count, Trump is closer to third than first.

Sanders within 1% of Clinton with 3/4 of the democratic vote in.

97% of the vote in.....Cruz 28%, Trump 24%, Rubio 23%. Bad showing for Trump.

i agree with dreach...rubio looks like he'll be the nominee, but there's still a long way to go.

as for bernie, this was pretty impressive. but there is almost no chance of him getting the nomination. he'll likely win in a week, but that may be the last state he takes...

I'm not convinced he will be, but I think that would give the republicans the best chance of winning.

I think the results exposed a big Trump weakness -- lack of organization and the ability to, when the time calls, make your campaign about the state instead of trying to make waves nationally.

In terms of Clinton, it was an embarrassing win. However, it would have been a very damaging loss had their been just a few votes the other way.

I'm not sure how embarrassing the win was. Iowa was one of the few states Bernie had a chance in, and he still lost, albeit by a very small margin. Looking at the poll numbers after NH, it doesn't look like there's going to be much of a horse race.

Iowa's an unusual state--lots of evangelicals and socialists. If anyone is feeling the bern, you can probably get it treated with some antibiotics.

The socialist evangelicals were so torn on who to vote for.
