| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! So the Hoosiers pull in a class that is really not ranked highly by anyone. 11th in the Big Ten. It's a smaller class than I would have imagined. Less than 20 players, which is part of the reason for the low ranking. By comparison, Illinois ranked just above us has 27 guys committed. So this will be interesting to see how the class shakes out. IU beat writers are hailing it more for the quality of players than quantity. Obviously Lagow is a big get. We flipped a Michigan recruit, rb Kiante Enis. Jonah Morris is a 3/4 star guy out of Ohio we got. Coy Cronk is one of the best players in the state and a 3/4 star guy. Brandon Drayton a safety out of Florida is highly thought of. Still, I think part of the reason for our turnaround is some of our bigger classes that afford you the ability to miss on some guys. We don't really have that luxury here. So we'll see how it plays out. All that said, Purdue is ranked dead last, behind even Rutgers, and didn't sign any of the top 29 players in the state of Indiana. Hazell has got to be hanging on by the skin of his teeth. Edited by dreachon, Feb 3 2016, 10:43 AM.

So this is something to keep an eye on. One of the best players in the state (and country), Auston Robertson, reopened his recruitment today. He was supposed to sign with Michigan State. He had an IU offer and IU still has a couple open spots. The catch? He was arrested last month for battery. Will IU take a chance on him? Should they? Will be interesting to see how this plays out. |

This whole PC world is getting ridiculous. Now there is a national holiday for the deaf? What's that? It's a different type of signing day? Never mind. |

Lol. There probably is that day and as a teacher, I wonder what your opinion is on forcing students to pick a foreign language to learn and spend years learning it with seemingly very little benefit. I'd much prefer something like sign language was taught, rather than foreign language. |

That something I had never thought about. It's probably too brilliant for a state to ever adopt it. |
