Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Big Ten title hopes all-but-gone now.
We probably would need to win both games against Iowa to have a shot at it now. That's a pretty tall order.

Didn't take this game or team seriously and they got punched in the mouth. Serves em right for looking ahead.
Meh. To me that's always the easy thing to say. We got open looks, didn't hit them. And it's not like defensively we were giving a layup drill like we did preconference.
They clearly came out of the gates lackadaisical and unfocused. They turned it over 8 times in the first 10 minutes. They were fouling too much. And their defense was shitty.

Yeah, they figured out they had to actually come play and then it ended up they just missed a bunch of open shots. The D improved too. But it wasn't the 2nd half that cost them tonight. It was the first 10 minutes of the first half.
They led at half and lost. Of course the second half cost them.

I didn't really view it as a trap game....I viewed it as one that was losable if we didn't execute. We were favored by 7 and we played about 10 points worse than normal.
I think it was for two reasons:

1) they overlooked Penn State because of their record

2) they were looking ahead to Iowa

As I said before Classic crean......

Kidding. I obviously didn't watch but I'm assuming they def were looking ahead/just an off night. It's a game we definitely needed but let's see what happens. If we bounce back and beat Iowa Thursday I think we'll all live with this one

Most say this lose was a setback for IU pertaining to seeding purposes, but there was a positive yesterday that may help IU's seeding, but not sure.

How much did ND's win over North Carolina help IU? It had to help some!
