Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Lotta contact not getting called tonight.
They have really stopped calling off the ball stuff as the season goes on. Indiana has done a great job recently of getting into cutters. Illinois couldn't hardly make a pass from the top of the key at times tonight. That was huge in the Purdue game too.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

If Maryland doesn't win at Purdue at Saturday and Iowa doesn't win at Ohio State on Sunday, then IU has clinched a tie for the title without even playing another game.

Hard team to beat when they shoot like that and play D. And yogi was just silly.

I hate the fact that the NCAA puts emphasis on something at the beginning of the year and by the end of the year they've stopped calling it.

Same thing happened a few years ago. This game tonight would have been a FT-fest in November. I'm okay with how the game was called, just wish there would be consistency.

This is the second time we've played Illinois where they have gotten so frustrated offensively in the second half that they stopped running their offense and their players just started playing one on one.

And Khalid Lewis is such an offensive liability. Dude is a senior transfer and offers nothing to them but a guy you don't have to guard.

don't know. think it might actually be illinois not having an offensive scheme...other than can hill, nunn, coleman trying to create one on one.

hate illinois...but groce needs to be done.

Just an awesome second half. Conference champions take care of business in games like this, even short a few players.

I don't want to take away from our defensive effort last night, which was clearly good, but Illinois really made playing defense easy. All they did in the 2nd half was jack up 3 pointers with little ball movement and no inside touches. It was incredibly poor offense and execution.

2nd half points:
Illinois - 19
Yogi - 19

Looking at the Big Ten Standings..at this point, even in the worst-case scenario, and not knowing all the tie-breakers, Indiana would be the # 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament (and likely playing Minnesota or Illinois on Friday of the BTT)...9 teams already have 6 or more Big Ten losses.

Indiana cannot finish worse than 13-5 in the league.
