Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I'm going to this game!!!!

Gonna my first game at Mackey since E'Twaun's 38 Special against Ohio State. I'm hoping that bodes well for our chances tomorrow. My cousin, a student, got me and my wife Paint Crew tickets. I'm gonna pull out my 10-year-old ID and sit in with the Paint Crew. I'm so pumped. I hope my wife doesn't get scared and leave halfway through the game. She thinks she's seen me intense watching Purdue at home.........she has no idea.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Maryland has to be confused. Purdue has made the same amount of 3s in 7 minutes as it has the whole game at Maryland. And it's shot 2 FTs already.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Swanigan just needs to shelf the 3 unless it's late in the shot clock.

Freedom of movement emphasis has been completely ignored at this point. Time for Purdue to adjust. Tired of seeing teams grab and push off the ball against them and they're still playing D like they were supposed in November/December.

+1. November and February games look completely different.

Stone having real problems defending Haas and vice versa. Advantage Purdue, though, as that's their backup.

Purdue has totally outplayed Maryland....has to be frustrating that it's a 5 point game and could be 3 if Trimble hits the next two free throws.
