Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I personally don't understand why people don't like him. He tells it like it is and is knowledgeable about the game. I like him and his radio show.

He fist bumped Illinois' coach during the game last night...

I really didn't care for the whole "commentator assistant coach" format they did yesterday. it was pretty stupid to hear them repeatedly talk about "our bench" and whatnot...

And that bothers you? Groce initiated it. What was he suppose to do, leave him hanging?

I didn't like that either but I do like DD as an analyst/commentator. And his show is good too!

I didn't particularly care for it either. I can understand trying out something new perhaps, but to me at least, it seemed to put a little more attention on the analyst than was really necessary. IMO, it added absolutely nothing over calling the game from "the desk". Not only that, but I'm sure the coaches could "feel" their presence.

All I could think of was how Bob Knight might have reacted. That fist bump would have more than likely turned into a knock out punch at some point during the game.

Just gimme Gus Johnson, I miss him calling the games.

Wish I could dislike this multiple times. He's a tool.

He's the 'analyst' who said Aaron Craft was the best player in college and he would take him with the first pick in the draft.

He's the guy who got killed in a twitter war by the Mayor of fucking Champaign. http://thesixthirty.com/sports/dan-dakich-gets-wrecked-twitter-battle-mayor-champaign/

He's the guy that called the Maryland student section the best in the Big Ten.

He's the guy that is absolutely hated in the region he grew up in.

He's the guy that wants you to remember he 'beat Jordan' (LOL) but doesn't want you to remember he got his pocket picked against Virginia and lost us the next game, ending the NCAA run.

Fuck him.

I checked in on the Xavier Villanova game the other night on FS1 and he was calling the game. I miss him too.

Btw, I had forgotten about that call. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
