  • Indiana - YOUR 2015-16 BIG TEN CHAMPIONS
Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

WOW! What a season this has been. And what an ending to that Iowa game!

We've come a long way since December 2.

Yeah, I would not have predicted this after the pre-conference IU had. It makes the season that more special for the Hoosiers, I just hope either IU or PU gets seeded in OKC so I can watch them play 1st and 2nd round.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

Amazing job by the Hoosiers after a shaky beginning. Thanks to the other B10 teams that helped out but we'll take it. I think we will win one of the two left and be outright champions but either way, congrats to the team. Hell of a job the last half of the season when they could have folded up and went home early.

It nags me just a bit too. That said though, and for what it's worth, if you take a look at past B1G champs, I'm sure you'd see the same thing. I'll leave that up to Brum if he feels so inclined.

Still, it's been a long time since I've seen an IU team with this much talent/depth combined.

I'm just going to enjoy the ride, these (including Purdue this year) are the types of teams that are capable of anything come tourney time.

I'm going to guess he was being sarcastic.

Guess who has more Big Ten regular season championships than IU in the last 6 years?

Nobody.

lol, I didn't see it that way. Figured he was pointing to a better seed in the tourney.

Either way, we'll be a tough out.

Did it without our second leading scorer playing a minute in Big Ten play as well. Sure, he didn't play defense, but the step up we had in defense can't simply be explained by replacing him. EVERYONE got better.

I'm already looking forward to next year. Not that we will repeat what we did this year, but IMO it looked at the beginning of the year that we were going to be really void of talent next year. Thought that we'd be looking at losing our top three scorers and with the bad recruiting class because of the uncertainty of Crean's status.

I think JBJ is back next year (for the offensive good and defensive warts, but we need him next year) as he can't go to the NBA with that injury. Think Troy will leave (but is a second round pick who doesn't handle the ball well enough to be a wing). Yogi, Max, and Nick all graduate.

But we do have back (I assume) Thomas Bryant, Robert Johnson, Blackmon, Hartman, Anunoby, Morgan, and Josh Newkirk (and Priller, LOL). I expect that of the newcomers, Curtis Jones and De'ron Davis are in the rotation with Gelon Grant and Devonte Green also in the stable.

BTW, I'll get a chance to see Grant play on Wednesday. I'll let you know what I see.

Congrats to the Hoosiers. I'm so happy for all of the players, and Yogi in particular to have such a memorable senior season, regardless of what happens from here on out.

Also, a huge shoutout to CTC. We were all about at our wit's end with him after that Duke game, and however he accomplished it, he righted the ship. I'm still not sold he's the long term answer, but I'm more than glad to give him some more time going forward. Great job, Coach!

DC wants us to give him an extension. I say not yet! Let's see some consistency first. The blueprint is there. They should be decent next year too!

Consistency first!!!!

DC is saying that because he thinks crean is a cheater and awful coach and he hopes crean is here forever so we continue to suck.

way too early.

yes a tie is guaranteed. but we could also be the 5 seed in the BTT. let's win this outright with a win or two to close things out.
