| Welcome to Our Hoosier Board! Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions. Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful. Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine! 1. If we get to the convention with only Trump and Cruz still running and Trump has more electoral votes but not the majority of delegates, who do you want picked as the candidate? I could see the party pushing the more electable Cruz (or Rubio, if he were still in the running, which I don't think he will be). I could also see Trump trying to hold the decision hostage by threatening to run as an independent. 2. What is your opinion on the republican process in which some states give delegates proportionally and some as winner take all? I know I have a problem with the democratic end not with that because I think the races are all proportional, but with the number of superdelegates the democrats have. I can not believe that they aren't putting all their eggs in rubio's basket right now. He is the only chance the R's have of making it to the White House. Talk about falling on your own sword.

1. I don't care enough at this point to have an opinion. 2. I don't like all of the super-delegates, and prefer the proportional approach. |

The establishment already IS pretty much putting all of their eggs in Rubio's basket. It hasn't moved the needle much in terms of votes he is getting. Currently, the number of political endorsements is: Representatitves: 48 Rubio endorsements, 24 Cruz endorsements, 5 Kasich, 4 Trump. Senators: Rubio 14, Cruz 0, Kasich 1, Trump 1. Governors: Rubio 5, Cruz 1, Kasich 2, Trump 2. That's 67 high ranking endorsements for Rubio, 25 for Cruz, 8 for Kasich, and 7 for Trump. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-endorsement-primary/ |
