Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Where do you think you would watch it?

We used to have a kick ass Sport's Bar here in town called Scores (revamped from a huge grocery store), but it's long been gone with something else in it's place. I watched the '92 IU/Duke FF game there -- 8 big screens, 12 pool tables, an arcade area and a huge built in dining area. Nothing but games on all day, everyday. For Vincennes almost 25 years ago, that was the place to be. After it closed, and a decade later, I wound up watching the '02 Championship Game at home.

Assuming we make it that far, I'd have to camp out at Buffalo Wild Wings the night before just to get a seat. In all seriousness, I'd probably watch at home.

Honestly, probably in my living room. I can be as crazy as I want without repercussions! And can sit on my own throne if nature calls :D

With KY fans living right next door, it may be best for everyone if I find somewhere else to watch it.

I can be an asshole when I watch games. Safer if I'm at home.

Ditto.

However, after we beat Duke in the Sweet Sixteen in '02, I had to get out, so I took a little walk a few blocks from my house. As I was walking past the Church, which happened to be letting out at that instant, the first "wave" of people that came out the doors overheard me talking about how we pulled off the comeback and won by 1 point.

lol, the first words I heard were "no fucking way!" "uh, huh!" Followed by yells and cheers and "other" words.

Ah, fun times.

In my dreams.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

I grew up in Lafayette. Got Joe Barry Carroll's autograph in the mall one day. Wasn't quite a Mean Joe Green coke commercial, but after he signed whatever it was I asked him to sign, he started to walk away with my pen. He took a few steps, turned around and said "hey kid, catch" and tossed me the pen. As a 12-13 year old kid that was pretty darn cool.

Didn't see it, but I was 14. 8th grade SG for the Andrews, Texas Colts. I'd post a pic, but I don't think cameras were invented yet. 😐
