Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Sadly, a continuing weak economy and more non-Islamic Islamic terrorist attacks are the Repubs Trump card.
Trump voters are more scared of missing an episode of Duck Dynasty than they are about the economy.
Maybe this guy is a fan of Duck Dynasty?

An off-duty police officer shares his experience at an Arizona Trump rally. Hillary's in trouble when people start seeing actual facts like this.

With the one one vote, Trump has really cut into that near double digit deficit he has in head to head matchups.

My point is that we are looking at an election that Marco Rubio would walk away with and one that Ted Cruz would most likely win. How does Donald Trump make sense as the 'protest candidate'? Cruz is pretty anti-establishment. He's certainly not liked by the establishment.

My gosh! Hillary is in trouble! 10% national lead now minus two anecdotes.

To be fair, this guy didn't say he would support Trump. He's just reporting that the atmosphere at the Trump rally was a lot different that what's being reported, and what he expected.

The charge that Rubio was too scripted was somewhat valid, and his personal attacks on Trump hurt his standing, definitely with me. Cruz is very smooth, but something about him comes across as slimy, tele-evangelist-like. Maybe Kasich can find a way to win at the convention. If not, Trump will give Hillary a good run for her Goldman-Sachs money.

What do you guys think about Hillary refusing to release the transcripts from her $675K speeches to Goldman. She's about as phony as a Purdue NCAA basketball banner.

Updated head to head -- average of 5 national polls

Clinton 49.0% -- Trump 39.2% (Clinton +9.8%)
Clinton 46.8% -- Cruz 45.8% (Clinton +1.0%)

Sanders 54.8% -- Trump 37.8% (Sanders +17.0%)
Sanders 49.3% -- Cruz 41.0% (Sanders +8.3%)

Repubs, get it together......you are going to get drilled by a socialist and someone who is more than 'ethically challenged'.

You are going to have no one to blame but yourselves. Should have been a slam dunk this year.
Kasich - Clinton = Kasich +6.5

Amazing, right?

The problem is it's not a well-scripted process, and you can only go with the people who decide to run. I think Kasich would make a descent President, and am hoping he manages to get the nomination.

Ummmm.....how exactly would Kasich get the nomination without totally alienating republican voters? He's going to finish a distance third in delegate count.

In terms of 'you can only go with the people who decide to run'.....who didn't decide to run for the republicans? I'm pretty sure at one point I saw you on the debate stage.

I think they are concerned -- probably legitimately -- that long term damage to the party ideals will occur if Trump wins. They might be resolved to the fact that he's going to win the nomination, but I don't think you can expect the republican donors and establishment to get behind him. Also expect that you'll see a lot of republican congressmen avoid trying to ride his negative coat tails.

Hence, it's pretty clear that they don't want to win this one. theres two scenarios in my mind.

Trump is the nominee - establishment reps don't back him and save resources for the next go around. Dems win.

Trump is not the nominee - chaos ensues. Trump will 100% run as a third party candidate and split the R vote. Dems win.

There's really no winning scenario in this one outside of something bizarre happening like trump backing out or being arrested or having a sex scandal...no wait, I don't even think that would do it.

If Cruz and Trump continue carpet bombing each other, Kasich could be the last man standing.

Enter: chaos and implosion.
