Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Did I miss something other than Trump's incredibly high unfavorable ratings?

Lars has already started the memes and posts and has stated he's voting for Trump. Combine that with the unfavorability ratings and the head to head polls and you can see where this is headed.

Not so fast. I will make my decision based on the latest, best information and analysis. I know that Hillary is an establishment politician who says what she thinks people want to hear, and her record as secretary of state is abysmal. What the hell is Trump? Nobody really knows.

And even if Hillary is elected (with or without my vote), it's possible she will do a reasonable job as POTUS. I hoped for the best with Obama, e.g. uniting the country and bringing more transparency to government, but early on, he showed his incompetence with both domestic and foreign affairs, driven by his leftest ideology.

Whatevs.

Hey, can you point me to the Donald Trump memes you've posted? An idiot with an R behind his name still gets your support.

I'm a glass is half-full kind of guy, and see the aftermath of this election shaking up the political parties. The Rove wing will hopefully go away, and assuming Hillary wins, many Democrats will be ready to listen to the new wave of non-liberal leaders, which I hope are led back into power by the under-40 crowd. This country really needs some new leaders and thinking. It's ridiculous that blacks/hispanics are so solidly in the liberal camp. That needs to change for their sake.

I wonder why minorities would be so anti-Trump.....

You're not a glass is half-full guy. You are a 'fucking Democrats drank half the water' guy.

Funny how you are so against the 'Rove wing' that you voted for his guy twice.

I dislike the current Dem leaders, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, but others have good ideas from time to time, even you.

Rove had his time, and the DC establishment has generally failed the last six years. Time to move on with new leaders and ideas.

Bill Clinton was as moderate a president as we've had in our time.

I have yet to hear you say a positive thing about him.

I was listening to Hannity yesterday and he had a segment where Cruz supporters called in and said whether they would or would not vote for Trump in November. A surprising number said they wouldn't. Granted, that really means nothing and a lot of the calls were knee-jerk reactions to the early results, but it got me wondering who on this board are planning on checking Trumps name on their ballot at the end of the year...

William Jefferson Clinton has done a few things to earn my disrespect. Firstly, his abuse of women is despicable. I found Broderick's rape charge to be credible, and he has a history of taking advantage of women under him.

He gets undeserved credit for the booming economy of the late 90's which was mainly the result of the death of the USSR, and the Y2K/tech boom/bubble, IMHO. The treasury benefited greatly from the stock bubble that was driven by a lot of foreign investment.

He and Hillary were tied up with a lot of crooked stuff, e.g. Whitewater, but it was difficult to make anything stick.

In closing, his policies were reasonable, somewhat moderate as you assert, but I think his other faults lead me to think he's over-rated.

I'm not going to pay too much attention to politics the next few months, and see what unfolds.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.
