Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Does the addition of Pence to the ticket sway some of your guys over to the Trumpster?
Its a weird pick and i think it ultimately hurts trump
It's more of a "lack of gain" than it is a hurtful move. He just chose a bigot as a running mate...a reputation he's already built for himself.
Pence is not a bigot.
How do you think the pick fairs with those sympathetic with LGBTQ causes?
This election seems really like a crapshoot so I will give my opinion which is really worth next to nothing. I think those in that group who are already going to vote for Trump will still vote for Trump. I think those in that group who are not going to vote for Trump are still not going to vote for Trump

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/06/01/lgbtq-questioning-queer-meaning/26925563/
"Still, others identify with queer not because it's an umbrella term, but because of its connection to the rise of Queer Nation in the 1990s. Queer Nation is an activist group that first emerged in New York and used militant action to oppose discrimination to LGBT people and reject heteronormative ideals."

So anyone who doesn't think man-woman relations should be considered the norm can identify with the Q. Cool.
Personally, I think the Q stands for Quicken Loans. Everything has gotten so corporate nowadays.

The polls get tighter again. I think Pence was a descent choice. If Trump can get a large Repub turnout, it could be close.

You've been away from Indiana for quite a while now. He's got a negative favorability rating in his own state for a reason.

Anyway, VP picks don't really move the needle much, particularly with unfavorable candidates. Trump and Clinton's picks would mean much.
Palin mattered.

Perhaps not.....but Evander Holyfield on the other hand....now there's a good looking man, don't you think? (See who gets the reference)

Not really unless you mean it basically ended the chance of attracting many new voters. McCain was behind badly before he picked her -- he picked her on August 30th and the four polls taken right at that time had Obama up by an average of 6.25%. The final margin was 7.2%.

Trump's chances up to 37% according to the poll master:
http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/election-update-10-questions-about-where-the-2016-race-stands/
Trump now has a 36 percent chance of winning the election, according to our polls-only forecast, and a 37 percent chance according to polls-plus, which also considers economic conditions.

Biggest question: will Scott Baio's speech at the RNC put Trump over the top?

Or will it cause an even bigger division in the GOP -- those who insist he's Chachi or those that insist he's Charles in Charge, and those who insist they have no fucking idea who Scott Baio is?

Of course, most people will be most tuned in to the 484th ranked women's golfer speech.

Translation: The recent polling makes you a little uneasy. And speaking of Chachi, sadly, the Democrat Party jumped its Shark in '08.

Which recent poll are you talking about? The last three national polls have Clinton up by 7, 4, and 5. The last three four-candidate polls that include Johnson and Green have Clinton up 5, 4, and 5.

What was expected to happen did happen.....e-mail ruling came out, Trump gains temporary ground, and a week later we're back to normal.

It's funny how the supposed 'jumping the shark party' is about to win their third straight presidential election.

Your party is the party of Palin and Trump. If the democratic party is the last years of Happy Days, the republican party is AfterMash.

If the democrats are on the water jumping the shark the republicans are a crazy guy with a metal detector on the beach looking for buried treasure.
