Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Trump's first lead on 538.com
http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/?ex_cid=rrpromo
Must not have lasted long -- was 51/49 Clinton when I just clicked on it. Obviously indicators currently are a horse race.
Changes drastically when you select the "polls plus forecast" option.
Both conventions now complete, and two days after Lars posts about Trump taking his first lead at fivethirtyeight, Clinton now with a 63% chance to win -- 68% when you go to polls plus.

BTW, why in the world did Donald choose to lie about the NFL sending him a letter calling the debates that occur opposite an NFL game 'ridiculous'? The league quickly shot that down, said no such thing was done.
73-27 now

With an 89-11 if the election was held and today and a predicted 354 to 184 electoral college count.

So youse is too young.

There have been two times since that Georgia was in play. In 1996, Bill Clinton lost Georgia by 1% (under 27,000 votes) and in Obama's first election, he lost by just 5% (52/47).

I am no Hillary fan but this is gonna be an ass whoppin' and after the first debate between these two they may just cancel the election and give it to her.

I think debates are her weakness. She avoided them against Bernie & Co.

Trump on the other hand tends to do well in the "gloves" off debate scenario.

Will have to see what happens when that debate happens.

Big difference between primary debates and presidential. You had better know your stuff when it comes to a presidential debate. Trump doesn't.

Primary debates may be gloves off. Presidential debates are about looking the part.

considering Trump loses pretty much every Twitter fight he chooses to get in, not sure why you think he has anything to show in a presidential debate. The people he gained that were entertained by thinking it's cool to give people derogatory nicknames are in his camp.

Never in my life would I have thought Georgia would ever be in play for a presidential election. Even more evidence of how fucked up the Republican Party has become.
do you ever use actual information for your posts, or is this just another comment strictly based on your stereotypical misconception of a southern state? I'm pretty sure your lifetime includes both of Clinton's elections doesn't it? I don't actually think Georgia has ever been a "lock" in your lifetime to be honest....maybe for GW, but I think Obama might have even been close to winning Georgia.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Most apologies, my friend. I should have said, "that's weird, because they've only voted democrat in a presidential election once in my lifetime."

I posted that information already. Clinton won it in 92. Obama's best showing he was within 5 points.
