Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

You're right. My memory as a 10 year old failed me. Now tell me more of my stereotypical liberal thinking...

What does your memory have anything to do with spouting off ignorant comments that could have been easily checked in a matter of seconds

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Not sure why you are so hell bent to say that Georgia is a swing state or whatever. There are people voting in this election where the closest Georgia has ever been is a 5.2% spread. And most years far greater than that. Do the research...Georgia being in play this year is an odd thing. Doesn't happen very often.

"Doesn't happen very often".....hey jackass, what you actually said WORD FOR WORD was "Never in my life would I have thought Georgia would ever be in play for a presidential election"

It's been in play 4 times now in your lifetime. So, including this year you will have seen nine presidential elections in your lifetime. In 44% of those elections Georgia was actually in play. Care to continue showing your bias and ignorance?

georgia has voted for the Dems once in my lifetime. I'm not sure what "in play" means to you, but margins greater than 5% doesn't define "in play" to me. You're starting to sound like Lloyd Christmas when it comes to your in play favorable odds.

Georgia is in play now. That's once. It was a 1% margin in 1996. That's twice. Dems won in 1992. That's 3 times. So even if we use your conveniently cherry picked number of 5% and exclude 2008, Georgia has still "been in play" (your words not mine) 33% of the time in your life.

Are you seriously this stupid or just unable to admit that you spoke without thinking.

Not sure why you are so upset about this. Also not sure why you are counting this year in your total when he was talking about being surprised that it was in play this year.

And he wasn't born in 1992. By the age he stated, the first election he was alive for was 1984. Republicans have won Georgis in seven of eight elections since then. Bill Clinton -- a southern governor -- was truly the only candidate that had it in play in his lifetime until this year. Even including Bill Clinton's wins, Georgia has averaged +12 for republicans in his lifetime.

This is really the bottom line: the fact that Georgia is in play for the democrats this year is indicative of big problems for Trump. In years that the democrats have since 1984, when democrats have won the presidency, republicans have been an average of +3 in Georgia. When republicans have won the presidency, republicans have been +18. I can't in this day and age the republicans winning the presidency while losing Georgia -- short of Georgia having one of their own running, like Jimmy Carter did.

Trump says if he loses Pennsylvania, it was because 'they cheated'.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/12/politics/donald-trump-pennsylvania-cheating/index.html

In the poll of polls on realclearpolitics, Trump trails by an average of 9.2 percent in six Pennsylvania polls.

I feel like aaron has been getting upset about kind of weird, mundane things lately. And the name calling has reached a new level. Not sure what's up, but I hope it turns around for you soon, bro.

Yes, Brian's first election in his lifetime was 1984. That gives him a total of 9 elections including this one. Georgia was in play in at least 3 of them. I didn't say the GOP won 3 of the .....I responded to his incorrect statement about Georgia "being in play". He didn't think before he said something stupid and I have pointed it out with facts. Let's not change the meaning of his statement.

I get tired of Brian's bullshit. He spouts out incorrect statements all the time and acts as though he's so enlightened while he talks down to people with opposing views. Fact is, if he wasn't so liberal, you would be calling him out on this shit also.
