Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

LOL......looks like they are trying to float a scapegoat while Trump's campaign manager continues to not acknowledge the plagiarism.

Aaron, if you want to know why this is still a story, watch the video in the article Brum linked. The guy from CNN describes it perfectly.
Trumps denial doesn't explain why it was such a big story to begin with. Seriously I couldn't care less about it. She's a trophy wife to begin with......did anyone expect genius?

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Funny to think that the Trump campaign felt that they had to make a change at campaign manager and chose Manafort.

It's not about her intelligence. If you don't want something to be a story, acknowledge the mistakes.

If the Trump campaign wants the narrative to be that people should vote for him because Hillary is a liar, then they need to make their own narrative to be that the issues they have made are mistakes -- not lies. The tale that Trump is now telling on Wednesday isn't the tale he was telling on Monday or Tuesday. And today's tale doesn't even make sense.....it doesn't produce the kind of duplication we are talking about and it actually implicates Melania. The discipline and organization of the campaign is simply laughable.

Well with social media, every story blows up for its 15 minutes and then goes away when something new comes along. That's no surprise. It's the same reason those stupid amazing I definitely watch them every time cat videos end up all over the net and then you never see them again. Was it a big story? Not any bigger than any other story. But it's longevity is a direct result of the way it was handled.

I'm not saying that this protestor should have been allowed on stage or to continue on disrupting an event. But the symbolism of people trying to block a sign that says "no racism, no hate" with an american flag is pretty crazy. think about that.

br
I don't get it. Someone trying to interrupt the convention should be thrown out asap.

Something to chew on.......

From Meredith McIver's letter:

"Over the phone, she [Melania] read me some passages from Mrs. Obama’s speech as examples. I wrote them down …. I did not check Mrs Obama’s speeches. That was my mistake."

So......someone supposedly tells you they are going to read you some passages from Mrs. Obama's speech, you right them down....but 'do not check them'. What's to check? YOU ALREADY HAD CONFIRMATION WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

It's obvious that McIver is being used as a scapegoat here. The story makes no sense.

Not sure what Trump expects when he invites a guy to speak at the convention who hasn't endorsed Trump and whom Trump accused his father of being in on the assassination of JFK.

No I agree. But it's still hilarious

Trump read and approved the speech in advance supposedly. Strategic perhaps?
