Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

This is a funny little sequence where Trump says he was shocked when Putin called Obama the n-word and then 10 seconds later says, "I hope he likes me." Haha.

I HAVE SEEN IT ALL.

Trump calls on Russia to hack Hillary...an act considered espionage.

Wow.

Br
Come on Brian. From the article:
"They probably have her 33,000 e-mails. I hope they do. They probably have her 33,000 e-mails that she lost and deleted because you'd see some beauties there. So let's see,"

If you have a basic understanding of the English language, you know this isn't a call to hack Hillary. Why would you stretch like that to find a stupid Trump story? There are plenty of legit ones always ready to go.
Quote:

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said during a news conference here in an apparent reference to Mrs. Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

You defend trump now?

br
I defend truth. Don't like trump but just be wise you read something on Twitter doesn't mean it's true Brian. Clearly Trump wasn't calling on Russia to hack Hillary.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

I agree. I don't think he called on Russia to hack Hillary either.

BUT

He did say that he hopes Russia would release those emails. I think he was genuine in that feeling. The thing is, those emails supposedly contain highly classified information. And he wants them released for his own person political gain? Just further confirmation that his entire campaign is not, "America First", but rather "Trump First."

They would have to hack the Hillary. But I don't think Trump specifically asked them to. He said it in the tone of voice that goes, "I'm joking...(but seriously if you happen to have those emails you should release them).

So....."jokingly" encouraging espionage is an OK thing for a potential leader of this country is a defensible action? With great power comes great responsibility. He's treading on dangerous ground.

Oh no no no no no,what he said was definitely not ok. I'm not defending what he said. I just don't think he specifically called on Russia to hack Hillary.

Exactly what are you talking about? What Brian quoted is VERBATIM what Trump said.

http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/trailguide/la-na-democratic-convention-2016-live-donald-trump-invites-russia-to-hack-1469636224-htmlstory.html

So he says he hopes Russia listening and that he hopes they find the 30,000 e-mails and you don't call that an invitation to hack?

Be truthful.

Oh it wasn't funny at all. While I don't think he explicitly invited Russia to hack us, he clearly would be happy if they did, and that in itself defies all logic.

his whole point seems to be that they probably already have because Hillary is so careless with her email......it's a legitimate jab, and hacking the DNC isn't a threat to US security....they are a party, not a government agency.

He wasn't talking about the DNC servers.

Brum is right. He was talking about Hillary's private server emails which supposedly have classified information on them. If that's true, Trump shouldn't want Russia to have those emails, let alone to release them publicly. Totally unamerican.
