Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Don't mistake the criticism of trumps comments as a reprieve for hillary. Believe me, that is not the case.
It is the case in the media.
Of course. The media makes money on spin. That's why the media area at conventions, etc is called "the spin room."

But it doesn't take away the fact that what he said alluded to an encouragement of jeopardizing national security.

br
Correct, what he "said" alluded to an encouragement of jeopardizing national security.

Whereas what she "did" jeopardized national security.

I try to watch what they do, as much as what they say.

He is an idiot.

Like Mike Pence or not, he really has to wonder why he decided to be Trump's running mate.

He is in a position where HE (Pence) looks like the calm rational one!

So the justification for Trump's comment is about what Hillary did wrong?

Newsflash people:

There's no justification for Hillary's private servers.
There's no justification for what Trump said.

And the media spins, but I haven't heard a single person say that Hillary gets a pass because of Trump said. Aaron, you say that's the case in the media. Link some stuff. Cuz I'm not seeing it.

I didn't give either one a pass.

At this point, unfortunately, I hope that congress stays deadlocked for the next four years
and hopefully someone worthy will run for POTUS in 2020.

I think they are both so tainted, that whoever gets elected will accomplish absolutely nothing.

I thought Hillarys speech was pretty solid. She got some good shots in on trump too.

If trumps wins he is the 2020 frontrunner

If Trump loses he is the 2020 frontrunner and will make a ton of cash giving speeches.

He cannot do that as Gov of Indiana. He might have lost the Gov race. The VP slot was his best move even if tied to Trump

I completely disagree that this makes him a front runner in 2020. Particularly if trump loses. a loss means he sits on his thumbs for the next 4 years. No governorship, no vp experience. And who wants to pay money to listen to the losing latter half of a ticket. Particularly a guy that really was only known outside of Indiana for being a bigoted a-hole.

14 Vice Presidents have becoming president....but 8 of those were because of death. Only FOUR vice presidents have won election for presidency while being Vice President and only ONE sitting Vice President in the last 175 years has won the presidential election.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

Do you know the context? I can see your getting your news from the Twitter machine which isnt recommended.

I guess I'm not sure which context would make this statement make sense, but I'm all ears if you have any ideas.

George Bush?
Yes. And he was one term coming off a very popular president. It's a myth that being VP gives you a step up on winning a presidential election.
