In my opinion the ability to communicate is one of the important aspects of our intermingling with each other, and to not learn this shows lack of respect for proper communication and language. In some countries learning to read and write is still a luxury, just like clean cloths, clean water and food.

But no, I don't judge people for their grammar alone. My grammar isn't perfect either and sometimes I have to fix it with spell checker. (Yep, I can actually admit to this.. I'm not the best at all. xD) I'm still practically a child though, so I don't beat myself up over it. If I'm writing something for school, I usually give it my best effort to write properly (which always includes spellcheck).

I do judge those text typists hoo rite lyk dis, making no attempt to even try to articulate their thoughts well. To me it depends on the medium being used too. (Like, it is easy to get into bad grammar habits with texting, especially on mobile where typing is more of a pain).

But I wouldn't think less of you for it unless you're really butchering the language badly. Really poor writing doesn't make you look smart; it makes you look like a lazy, sloppy, and careless fool (Really sorry if that sounds mean, but that's how I feel about it).

Maple, you're 15. Your grammar is fine. xD I'm sure your grammar was much different a couple of years ago too.

Well that's another point. Poor grammar can indicate a person's age (when I was 11 my grammar was laughably bad). If you're an adult and write like an 11 year old then I'm not going to judge you or treat ya differently but I will question your intelligence.
