One of hip-hop’s rising stars and controversial figures, XXXTentacion, has been pronounced dead. The 20-year-old was reportedly shot and killed while in his car in Broward County. News of the death is confirmed by the Broward sheriff’s office.

Here's his video a day? before his death, where it appears he predicted his own death shortly before it happened.

I'd love to say it's a surprise but it's been coming for a long time. He had a list of charges against him including several felony, tampering with witnesses and abusing his girlfriend. He was supposed to be under house arrest because of it but was allowed out to tour.

Live the gang life, die the gang life. Even he saw this coming a mile away.

Rappers often die young due to the nature of their reckless lifestyles. They love starting trouble and provoking people. X had many charges against him, including battery, assault, and theft. I don't know why so many people are surprised by this. Of course he was going to eventually mess with the wrong person. People need to realize that the culture these thugs are raised in influences the way they live their lives. X was a kid and could have turned his life around, but now he won't ever be given the chance to.

Depending on what side of the coin you're on if you know the guy, you're probably either spitting on his grave and celebrating his death, or you're distraught by it. Do we know if he actually abused his girlfriend or do we only have her word to go off of? Because for all we know she could be crazy. Personally I really don't care about the guy, and don't really care that he died, but always question everything. Sometimes supposed victims made the whole thing up, like in the Enzo Amore case.

Uhhh... Warlizard it sounds like you are making excuses for him? Y'know.. we ain't talking simple minor offenses like dealing drugs or minor assaults. We're talking about a person with a sick sociopathic mind. Just read this and you'll see. He was a sadistic sociopath with anger issues.

Nothing in his environment forced him to do the things he did like abusing, sexually assaulting and brutalizing his pregnant girlfriend. You can say your going to change yourself for the better but actions speak much louder than words. He probably just felt sorry for himself. Call me a harsh bitch but I'm not going to prevent I care about his death.

Zach there's a pretty good chance the accusations are correct given x's history of violence throughout the past few years. He even admitted to some pretty sick shit in interviews, so why should this case be the exemption?

He said he wants to become a better person. Seems he was just a kid who made some stupid decisions, but regrets it.

I'm not saying he's not at all full of shit. He admitted to having "demonic energy". He also claims to make music just to please his fans which I call bullshit on. He doesn't seem to have any remorse for his ex either.

In what world is smoking weed and peeing in public indicative of someone whose grown up immersed in gang culture? I don't think you get that almost all the big-time gangsta rappers of the 1990s were involved in serious criminal activity, from assaults, rape, drug dealing, robbery, and even murder. That's just what gang culture in America does to African-American youths.

Onfoy grew up his entire life surrounded by drugs and violence. It's not excusing what he did to point out that his actions are impacted by the context of his life. If he had lived and went out to a long successful career, first of people wouldn't have remembered this conviction at all, second, he could have easily become a respectable member of society and a positive role model.

I find it so absurd that the internet is always full of people showing zero respect for the dead, something I know for a fact 99% of those doing so would not do in public. He may have been a POS but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve sympathy for what environment he was born in, or for being murdered.
