When something really bad happens in your life such as a lost friend, family member, or something else. What do you do to cope, and how good are you at coping. I'm going through some things right now and need to be apathetic about those things. If you're good at coping through hardships, and being stronger than me then tell me why or how. Maybe there's a lot for me to learn from your perspective.

Aww I'm sorry you went through a negative experience. :c I believe the answer to most problems is learning how to live a life of inner peace. Remember that life is not a walk in the park and you're not alone. Part of growing up is learning how to overcome many difficult mental/emotional barriers and new challenges! Bettering yourself and learning how to love yourself is one of the key mindsets to strive towards. You can enjoy yourself even in the most mundane situations that way! |

Suck it up buttercup. Yes, I consider myself a stoic person; there are too many people going through adversities much worse than anything I've ever experienced, so I rarely ever feel like it's worth making big scene over something that isn't killing me. Stoicism is essentially about letting bygones be bygones and knowing that you're in control of how you feel and act towards a stimuli, so if you're angry for instance it's not the stimuli but your reaction towards it. I've always felt that if something bad happens that's beyond my control to just suck it up and deal with it. Some things can't really be changed or fixed easily, so allowing it to damage your life isn't going to help but only make things worse. Everyone with a strong mentality knows this. Life is full of shitty moments, but you have so much time to make improvements to yourself in various ways, so do that instead of crumbling.
