That sounds like most evil emporers I have had to deal with. Unless the competent general is actully a pc sympathiser in the end and betrays the empire only to be killed dramatically later. Then he survives awhile. Damni Leo, you were awesome, why did you diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie?! Or maybe there's a shortage of sunglasses in the empire? |

Sigh. The Empire isn't stupid, you guys just suspect them to find us straight away. The empire may be powerful with great Generals it doesn't mean they will find the rebels. They don't know wolveshaven and rely on maps while the Rebels know it like the back of their hand. The maps only show the roads and towns, villages etc. They don't show anything in between. Still the Empire is occupied with other matters then just Wolveshaven. Like the inevitable war with As'lera, sorting the Charred Valley problem. Dealing with the natives on the peninsular and attempting to annex Stormhaven without the need of the army. If you think the empire should of found these camps then its illogical. Considering the current situation. |

Their attack on Wolveshaven sort of ended in disaster as well. Besides their airfleet wiped out, there's also the part where they were bombing their own soldiers. They probably got more than enough problems already to deal with, and since we're on a medieval setting, it takes time to take control of a region because the troops can't be moved as fast as these days. Or something. I'm not an expert so ehhh. We'll get intel soon enough anyway once Wolfie gets to posting. Edited by Leb, Mar 6 2011, 12:44 PM.

Oh, so they bit off more then they can chew. My bad, Leb, it's Germany not Russia. Well, hopefully I won't have to show them true terror. |

I love how you just critize everything man. Nobody can't be the perfect empire. Still the Emperor was ruthless and didn't care if they bombed their own men. Normally that wouldn't happen unless the Emperor is around. But it gave them an advantage, it gave them the inevitable victory over Wolveshaven defenders. I can safely say if they didn't bomb at the same time, there would of been a chance of winning the battle in the city. |

It's easy to criticize since none of the PC's have any idea what's been going on outside of their camp, just that they're headed to Stormhaven sooner or later. Anyway, it's a good idea I once again have a glorious idea to deal with the situation, and to prove to be the biggest badass in this entire team. Or at least the most resourceful. As is proper, the idea involves explosions. Edited by Leb, Mar 6 2011, 01:08 PM.

I can't be resourceful, as I've no idea what's going on. Or to be exact, Val doesn't. Also it's 4 am and I'm moody. So blargh, excuses. True terror will be had one day... mwahahaa |

Nope. It was either it didn't work to it succeeded. 1-2-3 = it didn't work 4-5-6 = it did. 1 is outright ignore the vanishing smoke. 6 they agreed with each there was no need scouting a camp fire. Something about not getting payed enough. So Yeah. It depends. If you want to know the dice landed on 2. |
