I can't imagine what Val' children would be like, if that ever happened. |

Here is this nice black T-shirt with "I Hate You!" written at the front, and a broken heart stabbed by a dagger in the back of the shirt! |

As far as I see it, Jaina had to make a call what with a demon chick trying to set up a fire for distraction/HILARITY. It's not a good one, but it's one that had to be done. Just like with war. Aww yeah. Although she could have always opted to straight out kill you. |

Val was attacked in the first place by Jaina's soldiers that she ordered to fire tranquilizers at Val, hece why she riposted with fire. It would've been perhaps easier if Jaina went to speak with Val to explain things in a peaceful manner, instead of attacking her with darts. Perhaps there's some hidden motives for prefering doing this rather than talking. Who knows? |

Theres a reason why Jaina is using force on various issues rather then talking. However telling an assassin to talk is rather amusing. But then lets just remember. Val is a demon. Demons have earned a horrible reputation. If I did this by how society works in kaethos, Val would of been dead 2 weeks ago. I'm bending the worlds way of responding to you guys to a point which isn't funny. But its need because this is a role-play. If I can't kill you because thats what society would do to a demon. Then at least I can knock you out. Also remember Jaina has mentioned about removing the problem before when talking to Aaron. If somebody didn't stop watching her then this wouldn't happen. |

Which is why I told Wolfie Aaron would be the one to talk with her first. It's his ass on the fire as well since Tay turned out to be a really sucky guardian, and he's one of the few people who have held actual conversation with her as well. Hopefully Aaron can manage to get the situation under control without Wolfie though. Gotta use all of his old man charm. Which is totally easy when you're disfigured. |

Words work better when not angered. But we'll see how it goes. Besides, Val didn't know it'd draw attention from people she didn't want. She just wanted to try and escape. As far as she knew, she WAS about to be killed. |

Jaina is under a lot of stress and pressure to act on the situation of her people. For ten years now they haven't had a proper home. They been squatting on another kingdom's land. Now the empire is deporting all tunkas to the capital to be put to death or into slavery. So lets say once again. She isn't in the mood to actually talk but just act. However I still think she made the right move. If Aaron did his job right then this wouldn't happen. After all she did hire him to avoid this from happening. |

If knee jerk reactions are the right move, Val really should have killed alot more people in the camp. At least that way Jaina was justified. But Val hadn't done a thing. If people are so terrified of the single demon that evidentally carries a great neon I am a demon sign, I am shocked that Phyron hasn;t been riddled with 300 darts by now as he's been in the camp and awake for a week. Val hasn;t even been concious for a day and she's already been shot up. And she hadn;t even really done anything right until she was attacked besides move about. Admittedly she was GOING to make Tay do something until Aaron brought up how bad it was. But since Jaina made a liar out of Aaron, she's going to be mad at Aaron for lying even if he didn't intend to. But Jaina couldn't have known that, and even if she did, she'd have known she had agreed not to kill anyone. So I fail to see how it's the right move, or is it common policy to shoot everyone "in case?" And don't bring up morale again. If a single demon terrifies them that much, they should have surrendered when the cannons tarted firing out of sheer terror. Edited by Ragnorra, Mar 23 2011, 10:07 AM.

You know what. I shall solve this issue. I shall work on a mini series the focus on the Demon race's life in Kaethos since the Rift war. This should shed some light on why even so many years since that war. Why the demons are really hated. |

Difference between Phyron and Val is that he hasn't really done anything to warrant concern until recently. Sure he's a demon, but he did something to help out during Wolveshaven. Val however was caught in a cannonblast, got a mindread-treatment from a NPC and issues began to rise as result. That and despite the seemingly lack of interest in the well-being of other sentients that seem to go with both Val and Phyron, the latter isn't out to hunt, kill and eat people. Yet, at least. Loose cannon syndrome. In before everyone realizes the scenario with Aaron and Val is a "good cop, bad cop" thing. Or more precisely "not as bad cop, bad cop". |
