Well Val does use a form of battle dancing as a combat style. She just doesn't get to use it much heh.

Sharilyn has little experience in dancing with her blade, though she manages, thanks to her age and her many years of dancing experience.

Still, it would be inteesting to see the two interacting with each other, though Val would most likely discover that she's half-dragon, probably making Val wary of her.

Half dragon isn;t in her schema, much like elf. Until she sees wings she'll think she's a human. Saying she's a half dragon will just confuse Val, probably wonder which half she is talking too right now.

Don't confuse hate with strict and don't confuse being strict with doing the norm.

Depends on the GM. Norms are set by the individual, so carefree or strict norms vary between some GMs.

Now I see why Drummy said it might try to kill Wolfie.

Good to know.

Shadow@ True, but the norm I'm talking about is the standards set in the world we role-playing in. Different worlds have different rules. Doesn't matter what GM is in control, if world history dictates a certain action or reaction to a situation or another race then that will proceed without any negotiation. What you called strict in the past is just the result of actual Lore.

You can't blame me for being strict while following the culture and rules of various races and characters. If I wasn't going to uphold each individual character personality and racial culture then I might as well give you all the 'bat' and allow you to swing freely.

If there are any piņatas hanging around, I wouldn't mind swinging freely.

@Wolfie: Yes, the game setting play a part too, but you're the one who created it, no? Anyway, that doesn't matter much. As long the RP is good to be played in.

Just to finish my view on that matter. Yes I did create the world, the setting and culture. If I didn't decide to actually uphold anything I created. Might as well throw away the rule book now and allowed everybody to act like superman. Though one or two wouldn't mind that I do.

Also If you want to give feedback on how culture of different races react. Or how one reacts to a situation then please post in the forging the world thread about suggestions. Input from others are gladly welcome.

You already have my input in the form of an island. Though I'll admit, looking back on it, it wasn't my best idea ever but I think I did a good job for a first attempt.

Now, on to serious matters. I'm unsure whether to reply to Sharilyn right away, or wait for Sappy and Lara to post.

What about the just mostly liked paladin?

Also, I'd be amused if he ran past Val. She'd have trouble not following her instincts and chasing too.
