Or is he? Phyron seems like a paladin in disguise to me.

Get it correct. The Paladin is a title rather then a profession. Wolfie was first of his kind but the profession has gone on a different path. The modern order of the silver wolf is based on Paladins. Steampunk versions aswell.

In kaethos standards in Wolfie's mortal time line. He would be classed as a battlemage due to his skills in magic control. Wolfie was never part of the church or any type. His power over the light was clearly out of pure luck.

It's probably been answered before, but what's the difference between the paladins of old, and the new age paladins?
Old pallies were defenders of justice, whilst new pallies are demon-hunterish guys?

They wield steampunk equipment as well.

And she said favorite paladin, not her favorite The Paladin. So I'm still right.

Also, I'd call him a fluffy tuna myself.

Old paladins or the proper title. The Paladin. Is a title given to those showing extraordinarily skills or discovering new magical knowledge.

It would take a coup, the death of the old order and the insanity of few against the undead and demons to turn the title The Paladin in a typical stereotype. Which is what you all know as the paladin class. Zealots are strife in the order but there are still those who believe in the old ways.

I don't see the Paladin in him. I'd rather see a Fire Swordsman.

I'd love to but most of you are far too bulky and slow for Val's style. And she's too weak and light for your styles.

You should look closer. Closer.. closer. HA! He burnt your eyes.

And you guys should indeed share some tips in swordsmanship. Nocturne being young and all.

I could always teach the dual-swords style. Vox too uses that if I remember right. But up until now Phyron uses fire magic too often.

Where's the originalty then? Almost every swordsman are dual-wielders.

Val dual wields or just two hands her hand and a half sword or throws knives. Depends on what she needs done. For light foes two weapons as it's harder to avoid. For heavy armor, two handing one sword for the extra power to bite into metal. Thrown daggers for maintaining distance.

Wolfie isn't a dual-wielder.
