Master of Disguise. Possibly a Doppelgänger.

It sounds horribly inefficient. |

A sling is a whole different purpose of the wire. Point is that the wire just can't be attached in the middle of a throwing star without it getting in the way. The only way to 'effectively' attach the wire, is by placing two throwing stars on top of each other with something, like a small tube, in between them to attach the wire to. Though I doubt that would really work either. |

If you'd attach a wire to a single throwing star, the wire would travel in the same straight line as the star, thus entangling it. With two throwing stars with space in between, the wire at least wouldn't entangle them as long as it travels in a straight line. The moment you change direction though, it probably will. That's why I want it removed, 'cause even with magic, it won't work. |

*gasp* THEY HAVE CHURROS!
|
Dude, it doesn't have to be used as a weapon with the wires. Say there's a pole or a rafter he wants to climb on, but can't reach. He would attach the wire to the star, and throw it up so it would loop over the object, then he'd do another bunch of stuff and boom! Wire used with throwing stars WITHOUT IT STILL BEING A WEAPON. Think outside the box man. |

You are the one who set up the boundaries of that box. I already said that I don't have problems with any other functions of the wire, just the fact that it 'can change the direction of your throwing star'. Remove that one simple line, and you can do whatever the hell you want with that wire. As long as it isn't to change direction of your star after you've thrown it. Grappling-"hook" is fine by me. |

Not that throwing stars will do much to more heavily armored combatants, cough Ksel, cough. |

Though the 4 km velocity sling stones will do damage. And piss it off probably.
