It ended? That explains the shortage of duct tape around here.

Haha. Don't worry.

I will not pull another rise of the dark prince again. I'm finishing this rp properly. Even if I have to take control of everybody's characters. That's only in the case if you all suddenly died. >.> <.< >.>

In short. This rp will finish as planned. Or as Leb puts it. 6 months time.

Working on it. Got two down so far.

Gabriel, tattoo lady to go. Then mine which will oddly include you. As at this point your just following. I may look back once or twice to tell you without saying anything I know your behind me somewhere or something.

Funfact. I wrote a three paragraph topic on what to do with Sarah and Vox and how they can benefit the story as a whole. Well lets say I've got a lot of stuff for those two planned. :D

I love how the stealthiest people in the RP can't actually sneak up on anybody.

Obviously I need to re-spec Aaron as an Assassin.

Once again you say something not truely accurate my good sir. But since you brought it up. Let me explain the thing I have going on with Stealth in general.

I'm changing that by the day. Making it much harder for people to track Val but to avoid the impossible.

At the beginning of the rp. Characters who can sense magical auras of the stealth character could pinpoint exactly where they where. In any given situation. Now they can't and only know there in the area. Now thinking of this example, its much harder to track an aura in a crowd then it would be in a tight area like a hallway. Val is the only one down there with Wolfie. If he can't pick up shes following him in such a tight and isolated area. Then he should hang up his magic days for good.

I never like stealth characters that much but I'm working to a compromise which should please myself and Rag. Considering every change so far is making Val much harder to track while stealth.

Admittedly she's ridiculously easy to track by aura though since she bleeds magical energy off rapidly. Admittedly that makes things a little less irritating, though when things are constantly changing, it get's hard to figure out what's what.

When you're doing anything stealthy beyond just tracking someone (and sometimes even then) there are few people in the area. Its pretty hard to pull of an assassination when there are a lot of people around. Even just knowing that there is someone somewhere nearby is enough to raise people's alertness signfigantly. This sensing auras deal essentially nerfs anyone rellying on stealth to oblivion. I'm not sure whether Rag or I am getting the worse end of it. I don't ussually need to be close enough for it to be an issue, but she can defend herself signifigantly better if caught, especially among people who don't panic easily.

Best stealthy character = Concealing aura, invisibility, no scent, no tracks left = Ghost not yet manifested, or a shadow.

The sensing Aura thing is basically the same as if Wolfie said all characters are immune to fire damage.

Well if anybody's got a solution to this whole thing then I will be happy to hear it. Well until then I will try and find a respectable compromise.

The simplest method is making sensing auras more uncommon but then it'd still be relevant enough that everyone I deal with probably will still have it. So that doesn't change much. I dunno. As a general rule though I expect stealth never to be relevant or functioning when I need it to be. Stealth is for when I don't need to be stealthy.

I don;t think Val would defend herself better than your character Drummy beyond that she actually is equipped for melee combat and short range combat. Outside of areas of darkness, she's quite weak and can barely hold onto her hand and a half sword. And most characters would probably overpower her in darkness by merit of having above average strength beyond her own above average. If your character can build velocity to launch a rock miles, you can probably rev your arm enough to give a nasty uppercut.

I dunno. Fact is if the gm doesn't like stealth it probably won't matter what we say it'll still not work as I like it too. So whatever. It's not like we're going to actually assassinate anyone haha. We'll be lucky to get through the first floor.

When my plan rolls, there won't be a first floor.
Or any floors for that matter.
