Ain't that with most games where you've got a good and bad choice? They always seem make it so that being good rewards you greater than being bad. |

Evil is faster and easier, but less powerful than being good. There's a few exceptions, but every bioware games I played I always was higher in level than I ever was with evil characters. |

How's being evil easier? Usually everyone just hates you for being evil and tries to kill you. Or something along those lines. Well, in Fable 3, you can just let everyone die, so that is easier indeed. Easier than trying to get 10.000.000 to pay for everyone's safety. By being the brilliant property magnet I am though, gathering money never seems to be a problem. If everyone dies there aren't even shopkeepers left anyway.. |

Games like Star Wars, you don't have to pay zillions for things and still finish a quest, though you get less XP. You can finish the main quest faster and easier because you don't bother with sub quests that you need to do to progress further only by killing the guy you need to do subquests for. Stuff like that. Forgot to mention about controlling people's mind to do your bidding instead of making your stuff yourself. Edited by Riffus Maximus, Sep 14 2011, 08:07 PM.

I wouldn't classify doing subquests as being good and not doing them as being evil. They're subquests. Of course you'll be stronger if you put more time and effort into the game. I mean choices like: "Shoot the guy in the head(evil)" - "Ignore the guy(neutral)" - "Give the guy a way too long speech about how we could improve his life(good)" Achievement unlocked: Overkill poster. Master of Disguise. Possibly a Doppelgänger.

Apparently in Dragon Age 2, when things go down south and there's this huge battle between mages and templars, a bunch of mages appears, maybe they attack you maybe not but anyway you're left to decide their fate. Apparently they killed some templars prior so if you decide "SEND THEM TO THE GALLOWS" your whole party hates you. |

More like in order to gain access to the sealed door to the next area of the main quest, you must pay 2000 credits for a robot that hacks door. You either threaten the shopkeeper to kill him if he doesn't give you the robot (evil) or you pay (neutral/good). Of course, since you have to do this in the game's beginning, you have to find the money if you don't want to take the evil path. Which leads to other subquests/sidequests of finding that money, like stealing, cheating, playing pazaak or fighting in the arena. If you threaten the seller, you don't have to do what I said above and you get to the next part of the main quest in a minte instead of a hour. In KotOR, Evil powers are far more better and efficient to wipe everyone (7-10 enemies) in less than 3 seconds, unlike the Good powers that are great to take a single person out in a second. Good is great against bosses, but most of the time you fight against hordes of enemies, especially in the end. Edited by Riffus Maximus, Sep 14 2011, 08:41 PM.

Oh, right. Thought you meant side-quests like in Oblivion. Where every city and settlement has some quests, which you can either finish or ignore as you see fit. |

*gasp* THEY HAVE CHURROS!
|
Knights of the old republic, good: I am a tank with all of the healing powers, buff powers, and feats. Evil: I destroy everything in my sight with a few seconds of force lightning and a few flurries from my double bladed lightsaber that I killed a Jedi for. Then I'm screwed because I'm at low health and there just HAPPENS to be an assassin/boss in the next room. Choices: I kill you, take all of your stuff, and use your key to open the door. I brain wash you to open the door, kill you, take all your stuff. Or I pay you ludicrous amounts of money for you to swipe a card, then I have no money to buy stuff with, and then when I attempt to kill you you whip out some OP weapon and two hit me. |

Hmm. I've been planning some results of certain choices. Good to be prepared and all well lets get on with it shall we? You all get the treaties I give Nocturne and Selena a quest which they find themselves on the island of Amazon Women. Which Selena then gets jealous and kills them all. I don't know. I'll just post while I also work on some pure npc ones. Random mutterings over... |

And Val is now in a worse mood. I foresee lost fingers if people get too close right now. |

I sure love that pun. Be prepared to see Phyron losing a few fingers! 'Cause yes, he will dare go to see Val at this time. Edited by Riffus Maximus, Sep 16 2011, 11:33 AM.
