What a massacre, thought I agree that the large scythe doesn't fit the combat style, we are indeed not in Japan. Eternal injuries.. now THAT'S overpowered. Though striking spear might to blocked by armours, causing such injuries with a punch seems.. well.. you know, overkill.

The skill itself doesn't bother me, but the overall selection of weapon, skills and so on do raise questions.

Long-range weapon but likes to fight in close-range?

Naming the internal damage causing skill with "Striking Spear" when it doesn't seem to have anything to do with spears?

So yeah. Could use some work.

Although the idea of someone having to stay out of crowds, tight spaces and so on because of an oversized weapon amuses me.

That's one third of my record! Or so.

The scythe is actualy a pretty awkward weapon all considered. It literally cannot be used effectively at short range usually. Val only uses hers on helpless targets for that reason, positioning is paramount, and scythes do suck against armor. The sickle is a far more effective weapon all considered.

Vals scythe is also way shorter.

Honestly, the best way to use the scythe is if you're above your opponents, aka on horseback. This allows you to actually hit your opponents at a closer range. Hence why my chracters who actually use scythes as weapons are mounted combatants. Val just uses hers for executions and to look scary.

Just to point out.
Kurop wings is a far stretch from dragon wings. I think our lovely Val needs to go to specsavers.

Also, it was stated that the guy uses the scythe to SHIELD himself.

How could you possibly hope to do that, I mean, seriously.

The scythe would be pretty funny to see, though I find it quite unbelievable to fight effectively and quickly with a weapon that is so long and is so unwieldy. I don't know for you, but I find scythes to be quite hard to handle, imagine it being six feet tall.

As for the spell that causes internal damage, I don't really have a problem with it. It justs take someone who knows how to handle melee fighting. Though I wonder how a heavily-armored fighter could be a problem to GoF's character. He's agile and quick, unlike most heavy armored warriors, and his internal damaging skill bypass the armor.

Depends how it works, really.

One way, it's an electrical shock. Touch and ZAPPO!

Other way, it literally does internal damage. Your armor isn't tight-fit around you? Enjoy your horribly burnt skin.

Very simple, Wolfie. Pretend you have never seen a dragon. Whats the description? Giant firebreathing winged lizard that have mysterious powers.

Bam, instant misunderstanding.

Well you could blcok a sword with a scythe, given it's a pole arm, but not very effectively. It's hard to block bing stabbed with a stick, hence why you have a shield. Slashed, absolutly.

Striking spear: What looks like a circle of black lightning hovers slightly above his hand, and when it comes into direct contact, it deals internal damage.

Does not state it bypasses armour, does state direct contact. Laying my finger on you would also be direct contact. Combined with the.. what was it called? Flash step or something? Dunno.. So I just used the bleach term for it. Anyway, combined with that it would be: Can you see me? NOT ANYMORE, NOW I'M IN FRONT OF YA! *whoosh* I touched ya and yer heart failed because of my internal damaging skillzzz! Mehehe.

If it causes internal damage then its obviously bypasses armour.

Internal as in inside of yer body? Would you feel it if I used a Taser of some sort on your armour? Hmm.. that'd depend if it would conduct but w/e. Then again, depends if he means direct contact with the body or just everything he touches.
