When I said time to post. I mean its time for me.

Doesn't the meaning of the word 'anyway' assume, I'm continuing what I was talking about earlier in the post? Which was me guessing if I needed to post. Oh well bwn good luck on your project.

Silly overreacting.

Anyways, seeing as Phyron is going back to Charred Valley and probaly needs a side story elsewhere, I'll be introducing a new character as back up for the main group. So here he is:
Quote:

Name: Riffus Maximus
Race: Gnome
Age: 32 years old
Height: 3'08'' ft.
Weight: 48 lb.
Alignment: Neutral-Good
Kingdom Alignment: The Kingdom of Doran
Class: Transmuter/Artificer
Appearance: Bald, middle-aged Gnome, with a short white beard. Has a few wrinkles. Burns and scars are noticeable on his body and face, symbols of failed experimentations.

Personality: Friendly, proud, focused with a deep sense of honor. He enjoys speaking about the ever-growing technology, ideas about new devices, and stuff like that.

Equipment:
-Crossbow machinegun: With a precise assembly of gears and springs and a rotative system, this crossbow can maintain a sustained fire of bolts (3 bolts/second). The crossbow's capacity is 50 bolts. When all the bolts have been fire, a new casing must be charged into the crossbow. This weapon is lethal, but it is quite inaccurate.

-Steam cannon: Using the power of steam, this small cannon can project small objects set into the cannon with great precision. When nothing is in the cannon, it can be set to full power, blasting searing hot steam at a target. The water container and boiler are fexed to the back, and the cannon is fixed to one arm.

-Corrosive gauntlet: Using steam powered pistons to inject acid from a small container in the gauntlet, the gauntlet corrodes metal it touches when the device is activated.

-Flamethrower: A gauntlet that shoots oil by steam-powered pistons which ignites using a spark, effectively making it a flamethrower.

-Jumping boots: Enhances the wearer's jumping capacity by using steam-powered super-springs.

-Flaming sword: Using the flamethrower's system (or vice-versa), oil covers the blade, and a spark is used to ignite it.

-Magnifying googles: By crafting masterfully glasses, it becomes lenses that make far things appear closer, for a better aim or to discern details from afar.

Abilities:
As an experienced inventor, Riffus Maximus is able to craft a lot of things in a minimum amount of time needed to create the device and it still has full potential. He is also a fast learner, and can easily create something from someone else's idea. Also, as a Transmuter (Magician who specializes in the art of tranmutation), it is easy for Riffus to assemble the things he needs to create devices. He also has knowledge of alchemy.
+Transmutation: Power to change things..
-Change Shape: A spell that changes the shape of an object permanently. It does not alter its structure or volume.
-Alteration: Permanently alter the objet's structure, changing its mass dependeing on the alteration. It cannot alter solids to liquids or vice-versa.
-Repair: Repairs an object and restores its durability.

Strengths and weaknesses: Riffus Maximus is a very intelligent fellow concerning anything about technology. He has great knowledge of what is technlogical and it greatly helps him creating devices for either himself or others. His devices can be both very potent and versatile. However, without his devices, he is quite useless in battle, and is not very proficient with common weaponry or the use of armor.

He stole Reagan's crossbow! She'll be cranky.

And his weakness is when he's unarmed he's helpless? Isn't that most characters weakness except mages?

Can I change my weakness to drowning, organ failure when stabbed in the organs and burning to death when lit on fire?

I think universal flaws regarding living beings apply to everyone, har har.

Except when stated otherwise. Which is what Phyron's fire aptitude and heavy armor is for!

In before a gnome with a height complex. And possibly a fear of heights and tall things.

Oh god I thought the bugger was a dwarf. How did I read that wrong. The problem now is really how can a gnome carry all that equipment? And age? Eh looking at my notes on gomes right here none reach past the age of 60. 111 would fit a dwarf nicely as they can reach the age of 130.

Gnomes has the tendacy to talk really fast when they explaining things.

And that weakness wouldn't apply to Wolfie. I don't think it would apply to any kurop or Fey. Come to think of it. Can they even drown? I don't actually know, never though about kurop drowning. eh.

Well they're a special case. They've already died you know?
They're like a Good version of undead. Except they aren't rotting or skeletons.

I said without his devices. Give him the best armor, weapon and shield and he's as good as a dead man. Most characters would be just fine if they are equipped with a sword, which isn't Riffus' case.

1. If everything is gnome-sized, it wouldn't be much of a difference for a human carrying human-sized devices.
2. I'll go fix that then. That's the maiin reason why I did asked for infos on Gnomes in the Book of Lore.

So the gnomes are this settings salarians.
I also bet that they have very few magic-able people but covet them like insane.
